J Smith has a full plate as the sheer # of tentacles and complicity of Jan 6 is breathtaking and depressing not to mention the stupidity of these plotters the fact that they would communicate via text and cell is incredible, the shit these people put "out there" digitally is remarkable. What were they thinking? It's all retrievable, I'm glad they were stupid enough to do this however. But if you are going to be involved in seditious plotting it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that all electronic communication records will be looked at DUH,are these MF's brazen,stupid,naive or all or a combination of the above. Face to face meeting is the only tool w/built in deniability if your doing shady activity. Like I said,the stupidity is off the charts,similar to today's common criminal activity.On the "First 48",90% of cases are solved via cellphone records which put murderers near the scene of the crime or Facebook where these idiots pretty much self-incriminate themselves. All modern day cops need is a laptop and a subpoena for cell records for the brunt of their investigation and it seems to me these people are so dimwitted they STILL aren't catching on.

the simple fact that cell phones exist stopped me from doing a lot of shit i would have done when i was younger...you do have to wonder at the "minds" that don't seem to grasp that simple fact.
people have cameras, dash-cams, there are traffic cams, and store security cams. many cities are installing them on public streets, at train stations, airports, anywhere people gather, they even have security cams in graveyards now, to stop fucking morons from tipping tombstones over...
you can't go anywhere, at any time, without being recorded for at least a portion of your trip.

It lives forever on the internet and the teen years will be full of regrets in later life recorded on video for their kids to watch! It has been found that the certainty of getting caught is the biggest deterrent to crime, not harsh punishments. Nobody but a moron mugs a cop! Cameras are cheap as dirt and come with motion sensors built in and record at 1080p or 4K in low light and the medium they record to is cheap now too. They can be private (you can buy them cheap online) or the government can own them. They have done as much to control the police as to control crime and especially crime by the cops! It is hard to argue with video evidence and witnesses, though video can be faked these days it can also be detected by professionals, at least so far. Video cameras like the internet are here to stay and a fact of life that will enforce some personal integrity and honesty at least and save the courts and us a lot of cash. Like all technology it can be abused, intentions are everything.

I makes sense, he was conspiracy central and has much of the evidence on his phone and computer and he clamed up half way through his documents release to the J6 committee and was not indicted for it. He can give up more than Donald, they don't need Donald, they already have him for the docs, they want others, congress people among them. His phone will lead to their phones and their phones will lead to others along with grand jury testimony, they have the receipts too.

Mark would be the guy to make a deal with, his lawyer must have told him it would be the only way to avoid dying in prison. He has the goods on fucking near everybody in all the various conspiracies, plots and schemes, he was the hub of a hub and spoke conspiracy. But we have focused less on another critically important question: will the committee refer for prosecution its fellow members of Congress - Kevin McCarthy, Jim Jordan, Scott Perry, Andy Biggs and Mo Brooks - for the crimes they committed when they defied congressional subpoenas. Those crimes include contempt of Congress, obstructing a congressional investigation/official proceeding, and perhaps others.

Members of the committee have ruminated about whether, instead of referring their fellow lawmakers to the DOJ for prosecution, they should simply refer them to a congressional ethics committee for investigation.

This video argues that allowing Congress to police itself - by referring the five representatives who defied subpoenas in their efforts to conceal the evidence of Trump's crimes - will undermine public confidence in any investigating. It's beyond rational dispute that organizations generally do a poor job of policing misconduct it their own ranks. Members of Congress who defy subpoenas and violate the law should be referred the DOJ and must be criminally investigated and held accountable in a court of law.
