Two completely unrelated strains have a similar smell. One was in Alaska in the late 80s, one was bred by DJ short.
It's like saying Nevil had the first NL x Haze. You won't find written records of people selling it before him, but plants have been fucking since the dawn of time, producing all kinds of crazy terps.

DJ created blueberry in the late 70's early 80's.
The whole story is out there and DJ was on The Podcast discussing it. Great lines, I've grown them extensively. Some of my favorite herbs.
Back to AKBB, I am definitely growing out some of his strains this coming Winter. Solid catalog!

Thank you and that’s interesting, I assumed it was blend of a couple DJ blueberrys in his stable. Wonder if there is any other info on it.
On a side note, just finished that Lemon Star and it’s my fav lemon I’ve done… bright and strong fresh lemon nose and great heady smoke. The lemons aren’t for everyone but this is a winner.

Has Dave ever openly talked about his Chocolate Thai IBL?
I imagine he got it from Snowhigh, but I have no confirmation. I just know that he talked about looking for the Chocolate Thai 5 years ago on the potcast, and now he sells and makes crosses with an IBL.
I have a few Consumption x Chocolate Thai ladies in my veg tent, and I am very curious about the history of the Choc Thai side.

This Chocolate Thai is an import that’s been worked ,it has very little Hermaphrodism,
It’s got a bush and Xmas tree types, very strong stems that can turn red ,and flowers that can turn purple,
it’s a very up energetic head high with a well being feeling,but with no ceilings it can be overwhelming if to much is consumed, especially in edible form ,
Terps are choco ,old world tobacco,leather,anise,lemon
Slow flower with the 16 weeks flower being the best

I got 3 of his freeze land ibls going outside they've been rained on like 30 times no pm and attacked by Japanese Beatles! still doing ok i got1 male 2 females will be making seeds and will be hitting my serious 7 with freeze land to make some freeze 7!

Listening to The Podcast he states the TK x NLhaze is Uber potent. Sounds like it has to be with those genetics. I think that is where I'll start.

So, here's the thing. That combo is listed as "Consumption", but he has both lineages. He has the worked line I just mentioned using Professor P's (of dynasty/relic) cut of "the cough" aswell as Tk, Nl5, and Haze dom phenos of TK/NL5 X Haze.
I burned through a couple packages of consumption and tknl5haze NL Dom with sub par germination methods like a fool, but I still have some left in my collection, as well as Nl5 and Haze for my own breeding project down the line. Here's my collection for shits and giggles.
