Yup I agree that why I said and future legal producers. My hope is that they would allow that to occur but I think that they LP's of today may run a bit of interference. They have so much invested that they won't want a level playing field. Maybe I am too cynical or too much of a pessimist. Based on everything the feds and provinces have come up.eith this far tells me they haven't gotten a clue and aren't interested in getting one either....

There is no height restrictions anymore!

What is very strange is, as a med patient with grow papers I HAVE a storage limit. Rec users have no storage limit at home in Alberta....

Going to be a disaster!
As long as you have someone to "gift" the cannabis to in your house you should effectively have no storage limit as well.

Gotta say I agree with GB I think in alberta at least the retail will be shit LP larf.
Yeah, the issue the provinces will have to get around if they are to allow BM growers to join some form of mini-LP style grows is the feds have that tied up at the federal level. Not sure how flexible the feds are but they have stated that they will control the supply.

Lets all remember they cant even renue patients in a timely manner despite the fact its only a registration AND they dont call the doctors for renewals. Months and months waiting. So how the fuck is recreational Going to be any less in shambles regardless of provincial regulations?

Seems like a rather big loophole. If I gift some extra cannabis to someone and they in turn gift some extra money they had lying around to me, it would all be legal then?
Pretty much the only way to get caught would be for someone to rat on you or you to be audited because of suspicion of selling, so kind of like it is for drug dealers currently. The law as it stands will allow us to "Share up to 30 grams or equivalent of legal cannabis and legal cannabis products with other adults;"

legal cannabis V. illegal cannabis.........who's making that determination? maybe the provinces should set up a special task force to train the police to detect illegal cannabis from legal cannabis.....shit show from start to finish.

I have no doubts that dna testing will pop up for this purpose eventually, they will have profiles on lp strains, everything else will be deemed illegal.

It will be easy to tell the difference all they have to do is smoke a joint if it is shit it is legal if they get a good clean buzz it is illegal
