Alphakronik's White Diamonds

I ended up cutting a main branch off of the shorter pheno yesterday. I've been out of weed and needed something to smoke on for the time being. Lol! The shorter pheno is just about finished anyways. I'm probably going to go ahead and chop it on Day 60. The bigger pheno has hairier buds on it compared to the other one. I started my flush the other day as well. They will be getting nothing but high quality H2O from now on until harvest. These plants are really nice looking. Both phenos are nice and triched up. The smell isn't overly strong but it is there. It has a nice smell of vanilla. It is quite unique for me anyway. These plants gave me an eventless grow. Absolutely nothing happened during the whole entire grow. The only issue that I had was the bigger pheno stretched like crazy and grew a bit to tall for my liking, so I had to do some major canopy control on it. That consisted of me super cropping it during flowering which isn't ideal but it worked. It isn't very pretty either. It's actually the ugliest damn plant that I have ever grown from a distance. Lol! It will smoke just fine though! Here are some pics of my 2 different phenos.

I harvested the smaller pheno a few days ago on Day 56 of flower. It's a little earlier than I really wanted to harvest at, but I was out of smoke and just didn't feel like waiting any longer! Lol! I trimmed it all up when I was harvesting it. I put the branches inside my 20 gallon rubbermaid tote that I hung string across, so I would have a way to hang the manicured branches. After as few days with a fan blowing over the top of the rubbermaid tote, the buds were pretty much dry. I then trimmed all the big stems off the buds and proceded to weigh it. After I weighed the final dried product, I put them into mason jars to start the curing process.

The final weight for the shorter pheno of the White Diamonds was: 68.5 grams or 2.44 Ozs.
Although, I cannnot say that is completely accurate because I clipped off some buds here and there just to have something to smoke on and that isn't totaled into the final weight. I am pretty happy with that though, because 2 1/2 ozs. isn't a bad haul at all. I know that I will get more than that off of the bigger pheno which I plan to harvest in the next few days. I just don't have the room for my 3 strains that are still vegging, so I have to get rid of that big ass White Diamonds, so I can have room to finish vegging my Samsara Crazy Miss Hyde, World of Seeds Strawberry Blue, and Rokerji's Sour Diesel. I am looking forward to seeing what these strains can do. They are all feminized, so hopefully I will get 3 females!

I live in Kentucky, and I got a bag of what I was told was Sour Diesel for $65 an 1/8th. Let me tell you it was well worth it. It was some of the best weed I have ever smoked especially recently anyway. It was a couple steps above the best shit I have grown and that has to be saying something, because I have grown some top shelf smoke. I haven't heard much about Rokerji genetics, but I figured I would give it a shot. It is actually a SagenSour cross or something like that according to the breeder. I hope that it is at least a close representation of the real Sour Diesel! I won't know for sure for a couple more months. Wish me luck and stay tuned, and I willlet you know how it turns out.

I had to go ahead and harvest this big ass plant, because I was out of room for my 3 strains that I had vegging! It is going to take a minute to harvest this big ass bitch, but it is well worth the work to get my bounty! I'm going to post a few pics of what it looks like while it is getting trimmed and shit. Please enjoy, because I know that I am! I'm hoping that I get close to a 1/4 lb., but I'm expecting more around the 3 zip mark. I won't know for sure for a few days, but I hope I get at least 3 zips.

haha i just harvested my vk today. 52oz wet. whoever said weed is good for pain relief has never had to sit down for 8 hrs straight manicuring fresh bud lol my back is killing me

I here you man. My back was killing me too. I had to space out the trimming over the whole day because my back would start hurting so bad. After you are finished, you realize that it was all worth the pain! Lol!

Looking real nice, I was wondering when did your og 18 start to chunk out

your buds look so nice i think im inspired to do a white diamonds scrog soon.

i always sit down and do it in one hardcore session. i cant stand walking around with resin all over my fingers making everything i touch sticky so once i start i dont move. i dont even eat or drink just trim. and i always start with my smallest buds because if you start with the big ones after a few hrs of trimming you start to get lazy and anything small usually just ends up in the trim bag lol

its comforting to know i wasnt the only one slaving over scissors yesterday lol

Noob, I'm not completely sure what you mean by chunk out, but I am guessing you mean when did the buds start to fill out. I would say around week 4 there was actual bud formations and by week 6 the buds were formed and starting to swell up. That's if I remember correctly though. I had the pheno that didn't have the hairy buds and didn't stretch much at all. I hope this helps.

The larger pheno that I harvested after 60 days ended up with a total yield of: 92.3 grams
That is 3.3 Ozs.

The smaller pheno which I hrvested the other day had a total yield of: 68.5 grams
That is 2.44 Ozs.

My total yield for both plants was: 160.8 grams
That is 5.74 Ozs.

Actually I would have had a higher yield if I didn't get cutting branches off and letting them dry out over the last couple of weeks, so I could have something to smoke.I'm pretty happy with my final product, and I will post some final dry bud shots tomorrow.

I've been smoking tough the past couple days and haven't felt like posting pics or even posting. Anyways after some curing the buds have some smell to them when you take out a bud and get a whiff. It doesn't have that same distinct vanilla aroma that had such a strong presence during flowering. It has a nice smooth and soft smoke to her. It can make you cough but not that much. The buzz is nice. It isn't to overpowering and lasts a couple hours intensely and can linger for a while after that. I'm constantly smoking, so I'm not the best person to give a smoke report. But I will do. It looks quite impressive. It has light brown and orange hairs and is completely covered in trichs. One pheno wasn't quite as hairy and had some foxtailing going on. They were much frostier looking too. The other pheno, which I got more of, was alot hairier. It smokes exactly the same though. It just doesn't have quite the same amount of bag appeal as the other pheno. This is a unique strain for me. I haven't ever encountered anything quite like it. This bud is pretty stinky when it is smoked though, so beware! I am glad that I decided to grow this strain out, and I have to say from this experience I would try some more Alphakronik gear because they are cheap and from what I have seen so far well worth it. And to all those people who hate feminized gear, I believe that they only sell regular beans. I will get around to posting some close up pics of the final dried product.

I just wanted to post a couple different shots of the 2 different phenos that I had of this strain. If you have been reading this thread, then you know that I had a smaller pheno, my personal favorite of the two, that just looked better while growing. Now you can't really even see a difference. The buds from the smaller pheno were a bit more dense as well. The bud from the smaller pheno will be the one in the pic that weighs in at 6 grams. Anyways this will conclude this thread. This strain has been fun. It was a real treat to grow. I didn't have any issues really, so I would say that it is the perfect strain for the newbie grower! Here are my pics:
