Just go to walmart and buy one of those "Emergency Blankets"...like 3 bucks (camping gear section)...then you can cut it to fit...thats what I used and it was perfect. One blanket can cover quite a bit...its bigger than you think in that tiny little package.

Go to Home depot and get the cheapest flat white paint you can find. About $7 a gallon . Tell helper that you are repainting the inside of a closet in a rental and they will help you get the cheapest stuff.

it would cost a fortune to use tape and absolutely no benefits, that would be like using aluminum foil. white paint!

Painting takes more time and more money than a 3 dollar reflective blanket...if your easy with it...you can put it up in 5 minutes...or you can take the LONG way around and paint your walls...I choose the easy way...and can guarantee you will get no noticeable difference in your final yield by using white paint than you will using mylar. Yes I've used both and I'll never paint a wall again. My opinion...I'm entitled. =)...

i can guarantee you that there is a measurable difference in reflected light from flat white paint, and thise blankets. i tested it, with a meter. thats whyi spent the time and money to use a rubberized white paint, its washable, seals everything and i have to replace it. being lazy up front ends up costing more in the long run.

Well I can GUARANTEE you that I too have tested this all out...and I find NO measurable difference...hmmm...could it be #1 - that we are 2 different people using 2 different types of paint and 2 different types of meters and have come up with 2 different conclusions based on OUR own needs...or is it that YOU are RIGHT and I'm WRONG? I can GUARANTEE you it's OPTION 1 =)...
