Am I the only one that doesn't want weed to become legal?

I say everyone gives up their grow-op and make Obama the big cheese. That way he can afford to pay everyones healthcare:)
What if we said that all American companies hiding their profits in tax shelters off shore actually become Patriotic and bring it home to be taxed. That would probably take care of a big chunk of the cost. The Baby Boomer generation is getting to the prime of their health issues as they become geriatric. Why is it that corporate greed is given a free pass on Patriotic duties but I'm a criminal and unfundable for College if I don't sign up for selective services?

Put it this way...After legalization... if you can't run a real business (non mj) you prbly won't be able to hang...

..fine with me..
How bout' I just grow the best damn pot on the planet...cuz' I'm through running businesses.:bigjoint:

This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I can't stand the thought of weed becoming completely legal in the US. Hear me out, this is from a grower's standpoint. If I didn't make part of my income from growing, I probably would love the thought.

The price of weed will drop so low, it won't even be worth growing to sell. You won't be able to compete with companies that grow cannabis to package and sell joints by the billions. Look at Tobacco or any other cash crop today. You wouldn't hold a candle growing your own Tobacco and selling it to people today. Why would someone want to buy tobacco from you, when they can just go down to the corner store and buy a pack of cigarettes for a few bucks.
Anyway, I'm curious to see if someone else feels the same way. Or perhaps, enlightens me with some good points.

Discuss.
I have said this from day one. theronly people crying are the young people and libs who are used to getting something for free.
If the big corp get involved we wont pay our electric bill with our profit .

Im just a little guy..but im sure there is a reason people come from colo. cali and mich and set their weed to the side and smoke mine.
Allot of care and professional attention goes into my plants. No expense is spared.
If the wal marts of weed want to come and compete let em give it a try.
Its easy to grow good weed..just ask anyone.
I had this same thought when i started my first business, heres the problem.
People are stupid, they almost always buy by price . Thats why they end up buying so many things again. and again and again

Make you product stand apart from the rest..
That cali outdoor usps herb?? My customers wouldn't pay more than $3 a gram for it... neither would I. It's little more than pretty looking shwagg..

I get **** / lb... yep, you heard that right... and no one complains.. in fact, it is rationed... they would take more if I had it. Those 2 wks of dry REALLY help keep the price up too..
I give freebies out all the time though.. cookies, hash, etc.. sometimes even oz's

If you want the best.. open up your wallet.

I don't have medical patients... I'm not a doctor and Im not planning on becoming one... if you have cancer then you need to go see a dr.. not an herb dealer.

WOW,

I would only charge that for haze, or other sativa doms requiring long flowering periods.

You gotta get yourself in a position where YOU choose your customers...
If you go whoring yourself out from the start you will find yourself in a bad place... The typical consumer thinks because you are in business then they own you. ESPECIALLY in America...

If a customer doesn't work for me (not talking mj here)... i'll flat out tell them... i'm too busy, sorry.
Getting there requires you to get in demand. Quality that no one else can offer.

Again, this is regional... but there are other customers out there than the fool who buys a dvd player for $25 every 4 months... Avoid these folks. If you have the finances to back your company, you are in a great position when it comes to bargaining... NEVER find yourself in a situation where you need quick money. That's when you start compromising what it is you want... High $ for high quality..

I'll demo my work at 50% off... 9 times out of 10 the customer is fully willing to pay full price in the future. AFTER they see what they can get for the money.

i'M starting to sounds cocky.. haha.. sorry.

Most of mine are sativa doms...

I'll sell Green Crack a little cheaper, but not much..

My opinion.... make as much as you can while you can... cause it's not going to last forever..

Call me greedy... maybe i am... but, at this point, I'm not having fun here. I'm trying to get up out of the poor white trash place i came from = $.

We get them for less than 2. We wholesale them for 4800. Then street workers sell them at street value for 400.

And its a good quality stuff. My cousin actually gets calls from certain rappers when they come by chicago. It's weird but he talks about them like they're just they next guy.

Same here! That's why I'm a little hesitant to be as deep into this as my cousin. Going legit is a lot easier in the long run

Studies have actually shown that what you found is true. People will equate price to quality and will placebo effect themselves to believe that the more expensive stuff is better
