Welcome to the world.

Seeds soaked in water for 24hrs then into 3ltr pots of 60/40 Soil/Coco

This is now.

Just 1 day old exactly and their mini greenhouse cups are off, no messing and a fan blowing across them already.

600w MH 5200K a good distance away from them and temps good at 80F.

I want some strong bitches which will be individually scrogged.

3 x Anesia Seeds Blackberry Moon Rocks
1 x Anesia Seeds Slurricane
1 x Barney's Farm Pink Kush

Let's see how they go.

She's only in my first week of flower and I just defoliated my entire garden, in a week she'll look totally different. She's recovered from defoliation quicker than my other three strains - Blue Dream, Lemon Haze, OG Kush.

I've read that Slurracane has a wicked couchlock stone.

If you click on the blue link below this post you can follow my slurracane from when I got her as a 2 leafed clone through to harvest.

Well played.

Individual scrog for each of mine

Yeah, these Anesia Seeds mostly claim over 30% THC so lets see.

KK here is the Slurracane 4 days after defoliation, she's gotten back most of her leaves.

Light down a bit and they are off.

No longer little dots in the pots, now you can actually see growth.

Will update weekly if I can and happy so far.

100% germination from 5 seeds of 3 different strains from 2 different seed banks.

9 days old today and tiny roots out the bottom of their 3ltr pots already. The Ecothrive Charge is working well as usual.

Seems all is good under their 600w 5200k MH and I've noticed they are developing well for just 9 days old.

No feed obviously yet and not too much water, all is good.

Right, a little work needed with my blade.

22 days old and I've been at them. They are strong enough so start early as possible.

I will top them I think because they will be individually scrogged but as of now they are all in their 6/7th node but I'll hold out just yet.

I've gotten rid of all the new growth under the main growth so as when these are scrogged there will be nothing under they nets. Its an ongoing thing so I end end with a canopy of nice mains and secondaries once they are potted up and scrogged.

They are going in 18 to 20ltrs pots and that may come very soon because all are bursting roots through their 3ltr bottoms already.

I'll let them recovery for a few days then think about potting up to finals.

Still no feed, only water.

Not convinced pure MH 5200k is great for veg, I'm happy, very but I see no diffence to my usual HPS so I've replaced it with the trusty 600HPS Growlux.

Lights are on 17 off 7.

I'm happy for just 22 days old.

Anyways, pictures

Nice canopy man.

I've been asking around on folks experience on topping. When i was on this forum 10 years ago i read a really interesting post about the hormones in plants that stimulate growth. I seem to recall that topping at node 2 gave a four cola main spread. I've got a few little ladies on the go (all autos of random genre) so i'm doing a few experiments on topping but wondered what your experience is with topping at different nodal points?

I never really plan that much so topping is a certainty, I like to see the plant structure first.

The only plan certain plan is to individually scrog most of these 5 plants if not all. They are currently on their 6/7th node so growing well and would be a shame to not start early trimming the undergrowth to create mainly main heads, 7 nodes = 14 heads so I'm working on the theory of at least 14 heads each then pot up, trim up again and then maybe top, get their nets on and start pushing them back under the they until 75% full for the switch to flower. Individually scrogged gives me at least 49 2" x 2" Square holes to fill. Obviously these will not all be filled but I want a good many of them filled starting from at least the 14 mains a mention. That's the rough plan anyway so far if you get me.

As for topping, you can do it anywhere depending on what you want. There is a post on here somewhere if some amazing manipulation from a lady poster who makes plants look crazy freaky shit due to topping at the lower nodes and creating some monsters.

It's good to have a play about but go care with autos because they can be very different to photos. Try are not as brave.

23 days old from seed

Not planned but no need holding off the potting up because the plants are bursting roots out their current 3ltrs.

Ive potted up the 3 Blackberry Moonrocks and Slurricane in 18ltrs and the Pink Kush has a 15ltr.

They've had a hectic couple of days, yesterday the blade and now bigger pots so I'll leave them to do their own thing for a few days.

Potted up with Ecothrive Charge mixed in the soil/coco and the roots love it. No feeding yet, just water only, not too much though.

Only 24 days from seed and I've been at them again so soon, this is day 3 of upheaval for them after trimming up and repotting.

Today all 5 plants have been topped at their 7th node and had some more new lower growth removed. Very good nodal growth to get the 7 nodes already in just 24 days from seed. One plant had 8 sets but still topped at the 7th node to keep them all the same because I'm a bit OCD like that.

After the latest 3 days they deserve a little rest so I'll be leaving them a few days then they can each be individually scrogged so the tucking under can start.

Pics before topping, after topping and the tops and other trimmings I've removed so when the nets are secured on top of each pot there will no growth at all below the nets hopefully.

Here they are.

Nearly 28 days from seed and the 3 Blackberry Moonrocks & Slurricane have been individually scrogged.

Much of their bottoms under their nets is clean due to bits of defoliation of the new growth over the 10 days or so. Just waiting beneath their nets are a good amount of heads so I can start tucking.

As for the Pink Kush, I might have a play so I've not scrogged that one, I've supercropped it's main stalk in half nearly. It needs to be the same level as the others which are scrogged so it's bent over sad as fuck resting it's sorry ass on some dubious looking Jenga balanced bamboo canes.
