Makes me wonder how many cat fishing trolls were attacking this kid.

Especially talking about likes and support. If this shit doesn't get a deep dive investigation on how and when these people were in contact with this kid to see how he was manipulated (not saying his parents didn't have a lot of impact, but this is directly observable data), I don't know what to think about how screwed we are as a society digging out of this mess.

Shit his parents should be investigated thoroughly too.

It's sad all around. Kids get bullied, not trying to be a dick, but yeah I can see how that kid would get bullied and if your raised in a crazy trump house my guess is his parents didn't do a great job of helping him cope or learn to deal with it.

An Oakland County prosecutor says a teacher caught Ethan Crumbley searching ammunition on his cellphone during class, notified administrators, & contacted Crumbley's parents. His mom wrote to his son, "LOL. I'm not mad at you. You have to learn not to get caught."

It would be extraordinarily stupid to run here, but like you said, who knows. Our district shut down schools entirely over more social media crap that authorities have to investigate today. This one really hit close to home for everyone in SE and mid Michigan.

Yeah never know though with parents stupid enough to buy a kid a gun a couple days after being told he is a possible psycho by the school.

I don't blame the schools for being really careful with all these q/Trump cultists losing their minds though. I'm towards 94/275 area but I know enough about that area to understand that this might be a little more reality than some of the less cultish really expected.

Sounds like we are actually pretty close to each other area wise. Northern Oakland county starts becoming Trump country - just judging by the yard signs during the last two presidential elections.
Gun rights debates are one thing, but allowing a disturbed teen unfettered access to a pistol and ammo is quite another though. Not seeing a whole lot of sympathy for these parents on either side of the political aisle right now.

I used to work out in Sterling Whites/Royal Oak/Troy/Bloomfield/Saint Claire Shores and know what you are talking about.

Im curious if these parents were form Florida, and if so what brought them here. Not really curious I guess outside of the morbid kind.

Online records in Duval County, Florida, show that James and Jennifer Crumbley were charged with driving under the influence on Feb. 12, 2005, pleaded no contest, and were fined $652 each. James was also charged with driving with a suspended license and not having the proper tags on his car.

In 2003, Jennifer was charged with writing a fraudulent check for $150, although the charge was later dismissed. She committed the same offense a year later and was fined $240.

Daily Beast is reporting that the lawyer said they are on their way back from hiding because they were scared. MSNBC says they can't verify their reporting though and just reporting that the Feds/Marshall/Sheriff were telling them. So who knows, shit moves too fast to really know one way or the other yet.

too bad it'll never happen that they try to run again and get killed in their escape attempt....and their fucking psycho son commits suicide in shame...
