Any Advise if Tooth Whitening Rinse is useful in Hydro?

I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried using tooth whitening rinse on their plants in a hydro system? Just curious to know because the main ingredient is hydrogen peroxide and I would imagine since the rinse is for human use, it must be a food grade H2O2. A number of the other ingredients seem to be along the phosphorous and magnesium lines.

I'd greatly appreciate any information anyone might have. Thanks in advance for the info.

+ rep to anyone who provides some sort of sensical information. :peace:

nonsensical information would say that you do what you are thinking. sensical would say to use h2o2 for what its meant for and use mouth wash in your mouth, but its your hydro

My guess is "no", nobody has tried this.

.
Even stipulating that it is, that doesn't mean it makes sense to try and use it for growing hydroponically.
A specialized formulation like that has got to be really expensive, especially if you plan on using it in quantity necessary to oxygenize gallons of a hydro solution.
Even assuming this formulation would be beneficial for hydroponic growing, I can't possibly imagine it a. working better than a product specifically designed for hydroponics, or b. being cheaper.

Edit: I'll add also, that just because a few of the ingredients may have hydroponic application, that doesn't mean ALL of them do. These products likely contain alcohols and/or detergents that may not be suitable for hydroponic use.

A number of the other ingredients seem to be along the phosphorous and magnesium lines.
See above.

You're welcome.
