Any recommendations on air cooled hoods?

I'm currently using 3 x Cool Tubes (600w)for my grow but they lack decent spread. So I'm thinking of upgrading to hoods that have a larger surface area.
There are quite a few out there, so any recommendations?

I use bare bulbs, but when I used hoods I had the same problem and never found anything that could match the bare bulbs. What kind of cool tubes do you have now? I'm going to build a few DIY cool tubes just to see what kind of light spread I get from them. They are only going to cost me about $30-$40 to make so I don't really care if they don't work out.

Just from my testing and personal thinking I think that the store bought cool tube's are decent but if you really want to get rid of as much heat as possable take a normal hood and put a nice 2" by 8" slot in the hood than mount forgot what they are actually called but they are made for heating and cooling ducts. But anyway you put one of those in there connected to your 4 or 6 inch exhaust setup and you WILL see a huge drop in temperature from the store bought cool tubes. The fan does not need to "suck" the hot air away any more it just naturally flows up so it goes up the vent whether the fan is off or on... Just something I did to lower my temp and they dropped around 11 degrees from a cool tube.

I use 3 of these. They do a good job when it comes to cooling but the light distribution is shit.

The Cool Tubes do a good enough job of getting rid of the heat. It's better light distribution I'm after.

Do you have any idea how many people selling these hoods do not stock the glass? How the fuck are you going to sell an air cooled hood without the fucking glass?

I got my hood from my local hydro shop and it's hugh. it's a SUNSPOT6 by Sunleaves. I run a 600W HPS and it covers a good size area.

Okay, so I eventually bought this:http://www.basementlighting.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?page=1/PROD/REPA.
But the thing is fucking huge! I had no idea it was so big.
I usually use 3 x 600w Cool Tubes but I will not get 3 of these monsters in my grow space. So, seeming as this hood has a larger surface area, could I get away with only using 2 x 600w? How about 1 x 1000w?

My grow space is 3.5 x 7 and I'm growing 26 plants. They are 3 weeks and 2 days into flower and are about 2.5 feet tall.

I'd go with two 600W lights so you can get them closer to the plants and easier to keep cool.
