question number 1. the only bulb i can find is a 40 watt im only growing 2 palnts will that be enough wpsf (watts per sq ft)?

question number 2. what are some creative ways to hide the glare from the bulb and the potent smell from the marijuana

question number 3. during the stages of growth how what are the ratios for hight/water hight/amount of light alloted (hours a day)

question number 4. about how tall can i let the plants get (assuming theyre both fems) before i start cutting the light to 12/12

question number 5. if the 40 watt isnt going to be enough will you please tell me now what watt bulb i will need to grow 2 marijuana plants from seeds to flowering im very very tight on money so i would prefer a bulb that can fit in the socket im using for my 40 watt

Answer 1: Not for good plant growth No. Will be stretch to high hell.
Answer 2: Make a Do It Yourself Beercan reflector. Make a carbon filter or buy alot of glade plug ins ;)
Answer 3: I don't know what your asking.... Just do 12/12 from seed since you have very little space.
Answer 4: Plants double sometimes triple size once you put into 12/12 light cycle.
Answer 5: Buy 1 125w Actual Watts!! NOT EQUIVILENT!! 2700k spectrum and that will be all you need. You need as much light as possible. 3000 lumens per square ft. minimum for good plant growth. 6500k for veg... 2700k for flower... keep 2-3 inches away from plant.

Just starting out huh? Its a learning experience your first couple of go arounds. But it only gets better each time :) Check out some books on cannabis cultivation if you have a chance.

You probably are only going to have room for 1 plant in there with that pot size. If you want 4 plants consider using 2 gallon pots. You want like a foot of space around each plant cause they are going to get big and you dont want them bleeding into each other. What you could do is germinate those seeds, and just keep the best one. Put it in your 6 gallon and veg it for like 3 months and LST before you flower. You really only need a pot that big if you are growing a mother that you want to get huge. Also don't use composter soil from the outdoors. You need to go buy fresh potting soil from your local hydro store. Your composted stuff is probably way to acidic. You are also going to need a basic Grow and Bloom plant food. Your hydro store will have that as well and they can recommend you one. I would recommend Earth Juice. Its organic, and not very strong so its harder to fuck up your plants. Good for a first timer.

40Watt Incandescent or CFL? only CFL will work regular bulbs will not. Make sure its the Daytime kind with the proper light spectrum. You want at least 4 100W equivalent CFL bulbs PER PLANT. and if you are just growing 1 huge plant you want like 8 or more on all sides of that fucker.

You need a carbon filter to eliminate the odor from the air. You also need a fan pulling the air out of your grow space, through your carbon filter. You can either buy these two things or make them yourself. Just search "DIY carbon filter" for filter plans.
question number 3. during the stages of growth how what are the ratios for hight/water hight/amount of light alloted (hours a day)
I don't really understand this question. When you want to grow your plants foliage (leaves and stems) its called Vegetative growth. The photo period for this stage is either 24/0 or 18/6. Its up to you. When you want to flower your plant you change the photo period to 12/12.
question number 4. about how tall can i let the plants get (assuming theyre both fems) before i start cutting the light to 12/12
The best time to switch to flowering is anytime after you see the preflowers, or pistols, emerging from the nodes. This usually happens after about 6 weeks of vegetative growth. You can flower earlier but your yield will be reduced. Once they are about 18 inches you can usually flower them.

If you are using CFL's you should plan on spending like 100 bucks on all the lighting. You want the "daytime" CFL's for vegging and the "Kitchen and Bath" ones for flowering. They are 4 for 25 bucks at Lowes. Then you have to rig up all the electrical connections so you need the fittings and stuff. Its going to cost you some money.
If you have any specific questions feel free to ask.

CFLs will veg your plants just fine, the problem is when it comes time to flower
they don't penetrate very deep, therefore the lights will have to be kept as close as possible to the buds for decent weight.
I grow my mother plants and veg up to 4 cuttings, as well as root up to 10 cuttings
using 4 26w cfls (with no reflectors)
I flower with 400w hps. In the past i've flowered under cfls (4x42w and 2x 2' T5s)
but it's an almost daily chore to position lights, with hps it's easier to just let em grow.
My latest cuttings just recently went from veg, into the flower room so ill add a pic or two
of the cheap setup i get away with. 4 bulbs, 2 y splitters, 2 clamp light sockets, and shelving. Basically thats it for veg room.
1 pic with mother plant and 4 clones just after topping them, still in the veg room.
Two pics of the same 4 clones two and a half weeks later in the flower room with four other plants. (The four in the middle are the clones)
You can find answers to most questions on this site.
Good luck, happy growing!
