Anyone else tired of waiting for mephisto to open their US store again?

I'm waiting to log into the Canadian website. It'll be online in 4 minutes. Wish me luck. Set my alarm and got up early for this.

Never again. I'm making fem seeds. Already have a tonne of Mephisto Double Grape and saved pollen from it and Forum Stomper.

I'll be making seeds from this drop like crazy. This is ridiculous.

Edit: Took ten minutes to place two orders (Gotta maximize those freebies). Website didn't crash or need to be refreshed. Looks like we had a little more luck on the Canadian side.

They only had 3 packs available and you could only order one of each at a time.

I managed to score: 3 Bears OG, Creme de la Chem, Canna-Cheese 1:1, Sour Stomper, Fugue State and Livers Bx1.

It was noon est. and not even sure how long as 19 minutes in i gave up trying to get 3 seeds since everything was selling oit between the broken web page neesing to be re-freshed and getting the seeds into the cart. The genetics are good, but it is not worth it to buy from them directly just for a few extra seeds. Either find a seed bank that carries them or try someone else.
If they are selling out that fast, their supply must be pathetic. I realize there are a lot of people wanting them but to ony offer seeds for a couple of hours every month or 2... they need to increase the supply somehow.

Wish i was legal and i would CS some of the strains I've got from them for smaller black market prices. The only reason people continue to slam their site and not try anything else or face the reality is after the free F1 strains they include with the orders it becomes $4 to $6 a seed. All about the monies. If i could mass produce some Mephisto beans, I'd gladly sell them 5 packs for $20 which when you buy a 3 pack(plus the exta 2 seeds) it's usually $44 for 5 seeds.

Thanks, I'll just keep my eye out on next US drop. I shall know by then if I want to re-order Canna-Cheese or not. They're getting close to being done
They will be having a Nov drop for some one off F1 crosses, but only those. No regular strains. I know alot of banks have had Canna Cheese in stock as of recent.

Definitely, their supply seems to be limited and they're trying to supply seedbanks at the same time. I had heard they had to move their whole operation sometime last year or something like that, so perhaps they're still recovering from that and are simply struggling to keep up to the demand since. I dunno that well how the back end process works. But seems they are stretching themselves a bit thin trying to develop new strains and such instead just bulking up the stock of what they have already. But I guess that's their prerogative.

They did need to downsize and i don't think they are being honest. Per Stan from Mephisto on AFN, they were renting a space for the "farm" and the guy died and the new owners found out the "farm" was on the new owners electricity and so they had to move to a smaller space. They got caught outsourcing their seed making to others and defended it hard. They definitely have shade coming out of the ass as a company, but it's hard so far... the genetics have been worth it. But they are really just putting out enough seeds to start panic and make sure they sell for whatever they do with the money. Rent, life, whatever. They clearly just don't care about the growing out of love, just caahing in now off the hype they created. Like getring your buddy into coke than when he's an addict charging him for it. That's all they are now.

Hey Matty. I like your point and it makes complete sense. I feel like that and I haven’t even grown from their seeds yet and I want more haha. Or maybe it’s cause my wife threw my other seeds away by accident. I know you pointed me in the right direction for some Mephisto strains before. What would you buy besides Mephisto if you were looking for quality and good genetics? I would like to stock up.

Woah, hadn't heard about all that. Well, I'm stocked on Meph beans now for awhile so either way I'll probably be checking out some other breeders next time I'll looking.

If they can't keep their own store in stock... they don't need to be supplying seedbanks in my opinion... and from a money standpoint you would think there is more money to be made selling them in your own store and cutting out the "middle man" seedbank.

I keep seeing Rockbud is competing with Mephisto and I've seen alot of Daz's stuff from Night Owl being grown out and looking really good. Also if you do want Mephisto seeds, go to their site and look for the distributors in the info section. Some banks have 5-8 strains available.

It's a little bit of both I think... their marketing machine is definitely something to behold but there also is a serious lack of great auto genetics around, and Meph is better than most. But I imagine it will be like the craft beer scene... when Heady Topper hit the shelves everyone went all soup sandwich over it, standing in lines for hours and following the delivery trucks around, because there really wasn't any competition at the time. But then all these other breweries started popping up with dope creations and now you can just walk into a beer store anywhere in VT and buy it no problem.

People will get sick of the false scarcity business model, other breeders will make dope autos, demand will decline and Mephisto will reach a point where their seeds are always available... and by then I'll be growing something else anyways
Heady was far from the first.....the marketing was a different approach but to say no competition is a stretch.

According to most of the better growers on this site all autos are trash anyway. That would include their overhyped BS.
They do have some good strains.

So I was tempted to just leave this alone but heck, I'm curious... what competition was there at the time for that particular type of beer? I'm not saying it was the only one or the best but it did kind of create its own league until breweries like Bissel, Tree house and Trillium showed up. There was Sip of Sunshine but it wasn't nearly as potent or well regarded as Heady. And I know other parts of the country were having their own microbrewery revolution at the time but if it's not available in the same market it's not really competition... and even considering that, Heady had a different kind of following. It was the top rated beer in the US for several years. It has a 100 rating at beer advocate.

Well got tired of waiting... snagged a 7 pack of sour stomper and a pack of night owl foot cheese from DC Seed Exchange.

You're mixing up microbrewery revolution and hoppy beer revolution. The new hoppy beer craze definitely brought more mainstream attention to micro beers. Heady has only been canned for less than ten years. I like heady it's not a go to but it's good. Sip is much better I think. Have you ever had the double sip? Or Sixpoint Resin?I'm not as much into beer as I used to be.
