if you flower them straight away the yield is going to be very small.
Good point. I should have asked about how much floorspace was available in that 4' tall box. If there's plenty of horizontal space, the plant could be trained horizontally to max the yield without a lot of vertical height.

Individual plants, in the SoG style (branching removed from the lower 1/3 of the plant), flowered with zero veg time will yield about an oz each- but only need an 8" circle to live in.

4' is a lot of room. from the shelf my plants sit on to the hooks on the top of my light it is exactly 4'. i just went and measured it. i veg my clones until they are 10 - 12". i get them from the club. they have roots. i plant them directly into 6" pots. i veg until they are 10 - 12" then i place them in the flower room. they finish at 20 - 24" averaging about an ounce each.

fdd, you have the height advantage of using soil. If you have a hydro system, tanks and whatnot take up a bit of space under the plants.

Real nice work, BTW. :)

soil is my medium for now this is my first time growing. I have a very good idea so far onthe basics of good growing thanks to this site. Damn Fdd thats exactly what i want my setup to end up like. The guy at the Hydro store told me that reflective paper you have greates sun spots, but from what i can see the results are satisfieng. i Use a huge ass pot for my plants i didnt know they could get that much off a 6 " pot. does it stay in the 6" pot its whole life?
