Caddy. I called it the Wreck de Ville. The ex called it Cruella. cn
i seen so many older caddy's go to shit.. floors rotting out and stuff, tops leaking rain through, bad electronics... though i will happily take a new CTS-V

I think the CTSs are dog butt ugly. And the dash-V is supercharged. Not my style. cn

sooooooo, which car? gangster cadillac orrr thuggin caprice?
Before you buy either of them get it inspected first! It will be the best money you ever spent on a car! I worked at subaru for 6 years, I cant even begin to tell you how many times a customer would come in and say "Look at this great car I just bought" then we put it on the rack for an oil change/inspection and we end up saying "There are a few problems with your car, would you like to come out to the shop and see?".

GET THE CAR INSPECTED AND ASK FOR SERVICE RECORDS! Just because someone says they maintain the car doesn't mean they actually do. If they don't have receipts then it pretty much didn't happen, also do a little research into the car and see what type of work it may have coming up. Say you buy a car with 100,000 miles on it, some cars need a timing belt at 105,000 or 120,000 miles (some much more often than that).

I remember your age, I got a 4.6L V8 truck (whatever the fuck that all means, I don't know vehicles. Which was also a dipshit move before buying one). Thought I was pretty bad. $120 to fill er up and the gas lasting a week though turned me off that dipshit path. Next fucking car I'm going for, is going to be one of those 40 MPG or more jobs. Even if it is some pussy shitty looking compact sedan. It'll get a man from point a to point b and not empty his mafucking wallet.

cadillacs are the best! ok not the best but ive always had a thing for caddy's.

if ur in college however and only 18 id suggest something even more reliable. as much as i hate to say it (because im not too fond of them personally but for no good reason) but honda, toyota, and acura make cars that are extremely reliable...to the point of a million miles on some engines.

they are also fairly cheap to maintain especially with their popularity.

besides you'll fly "under the radar" with police more than if you're driving an older caddy with a bright red interior (not to mention the bass and rims you want). personally i'd love that but i wouldnt suggest it. cops are just gonna bother you whenever they can.

i'd say STAY AWAY from ford though (found on road dead/fix or repair daily)...nuff said. i had a ford and it was the biggest P.O.S. i ever seen in my life. i got it when it was only 2 yrs (from a car lot that mainly sells new cars) and it ate 3 trannys in less than 3 yrs! (holy F**K!)

if you dont like hondas or toyotas go with a VW. (not a bug lol) but vw's are pretty well known for good gas mileage.

if you're in college and 18 you want something that wont suck up all your money. i guarantee that caddy is only half as gas efficient as a honda or toyota.

oh and like others have said before you buy the car take it to a mechanic! i didnt with my old ford and i grew to regret it after redoing the tranny 3 times. so ask the seller to split the difference at a mechanic or tell them to pay it but if everything is cleared by the mechanic you'll foot the bill but if it comes back with a problem they have to pay it. if they chicken out then dont do it because obviously they know it has problems.

i like everything here, but stay away from vw, i have one now just sitting.. 2004 jetta gli vr6... thats my 3rd jetta, 4th vw... every one of them the same problems start once you hit about 100,000.. cooling and electrical.. plus for around 2000, the kinda vw youd get you dont want

i want an acura integra so fuckin bad, but i cant seem to find a good one, but yeah i have a pretty steady income so im not worried about gas $$ :) i know i should be though like 4$ a gallon, thats some bull shit, plus i have 4 year scholarship and free grants i dont have to pay back!

Nothing screams "I'm a drug dealer; pull me over" like an 18 year old driving an old Caddy in Fl. Good luck with that. I suggest you get something tall like a pickup truck (not a jacked up little dick mobile) so you can see over the idiots and also survive an accident. Just my $0.02
this is still fucking hilarious, i love it
