I was pulled over because I made eye contact with the officers passing by. Illegal stop

They turned their car around and came after me and stopped me and asked if I had been smoking. "I consent to nothing and will make no statements without my attorney."

This is why I volunteer my time to a boxing gym training kids. Sure I teach the jab, straight and left hook etc but the main lesson, and one I drill into them is to never fear other people and if they are going to go down, go down fighting. I drill into them over and over, unless you're going to die immediately, don't let fear dictate anything in your fight or life in general.

I know this is getting long winded but fuck man, this shit pisses me off and the OP should probably join my group of kids, he could use it. He busted himself. If there is one lesson I could give everyone, it's don't live your life like a bitch and let others intimidate you into jack shit.

I'm not trying to knock anyone but fuck ... it's just frustrating to me when people let fear get them in trouble. I've been in far worse situations (swat raid for one) and just told them to fuck off with the talk and arrest me if they are going to arrest me and I'm a mild mannered dude that wears loafers, slacks and dress shirt everyday. I just don't fear other humans because I put the work in learning not to be a bitch.
That's not exactly the case though. I was fearful in the beginning but I did lose that fear and fought that's why I went to court five times and the case got dropped..my own public defender even tried to manipulate me difference options instead of pleading not guilty.

Trust me I learned from this that's why I wanted to sue to keep fighting back and not just let it go..

NEVER USE PUBLIC DEFENDERS .........they rather make a deal that is less work for them

always hire a lawyer .........a drug defense is normal only a 5000 dollar case to them unless u are distro/traffcing then u are talking 20/50k case in state and federal courts

I know dude she was a total bitch, I realized toward the end she was working with the prosecutor (of course, they are work buddies) to try to get me charged instead of helping me drop the case. And as far as DUI I don't think I'd ever get an attorney I saw some people come in with one and the attorney totally had them pled guilty and walked out..I'm glad I got a pa cause otherwise I would have lost money..other cases I don't plan on doing anything crazy to get in that kinda position..

I want to be a motherfucker to deal with too especially after my experience, but I've seen videos of what you're talking about and the reactions of cops and how they piss them off and I think it's way better go about it more appropriately like this:
I mean this guy is a criminal defense lawyer from a higher social racial and economic class than those guys you see on youtube

That's good man, you should sue and not let it go and I admire that and would like to see you follow through. If you setup a donation page to fund it I will be more than willing to throw some cash in.
. All I'm saying is never allow yourself to be a victim and if you have to go down being in the right do it. When the cops have you roadside they don't give a shit about your rights or whatever, I get that and they will sometimes arrest you for nothing. I know that is scary shit but I'm just saying don't help them out and cops are experts at using fear, don't fall for it.

From personal experience as an adult, the best "get out of jail free card" I've ever had was having a lawyer on retainer. I feel everyone should have one.

I've gotten away with much less, if you have the money then do more. The swat raid I was in that I mentioned was one where I was just visiting a few ex-cons I was employing at the time and the place was one that I leased for a group of 4 or 5 new parolees. One of them got back on the dope was out doing stupid shit and the door got kicked in while I and many others were there. I obviously wasn't tied to anything but was treated like I was. I eventually got released without a charge but it cost me 1,500.00.

Edit: can't say released because I wasn't incarcerated but was in the case file with at the DA's office and was going to be charged.

You could file a complaint. Did you get a dui for the pot?

Court appointed attorneys work for the court system not you. There is a court library and you can read all the law books for free. Did you know that? Every book a lawyer has. You can walk right in and read them, fee access. If you can remember all that shit and pass the bar exam then you can be a lawyer. I recommend one of those butt pillows the chairs are uncomfortable in our library. I think they make the chairs uncomfortable to keep people from reading the books.
