anyone know what month the world comes to an end next year

The Earth will not end on 2012. It never will or at least in our lifetime.

2012 London Olympics- Theres more than enough evidence to proove that something symbolic, which has been planned for years, is going to be unveiled to the world.

Beleive or not its your choice. The answers are out there you just have to sift through all the bullshit.

I used to believe that the world would probably end on December 23rd 2012 (viginti tres), back when I was in high school.

It was a good excuse for me to do nothing but shoot heroin and lament about the state of the bullshit society I lived in. My perspective has changed tremendously. For one thing, the date does not mark the end of the Mayan calendar nor the world. The calendar 'resets'; no Mayans believe that the world is going to end or even the world "as we know it".

I am however, a firm believer in the power of suggestion and the significance of overbearing, evangelical extremists. If anything does happen around these dates it is because they've been working so hard to set it up that way. If so many people want to believe in the coming of the anti-Christ and WW3 and the apocalypse, their eagerness for the world to end could very well facilitate some outrageous Armageddon-esque catastrophe.

Some guy came out a couple weeks ago with something that moves the timetable up. His name is Harold Camping. He says that the Rapture and Second Coming will occur on May 21, 2011. This guy is 88 years old, and has studied the Bible and done mathematical research on biblical references for about 70 years. Supposedly, May 21 will be exactly 7000 years after Noah took the animals on the ark. Do I believe it? No, just reporting the news lol

WHAT???? are you retarded or just plain old stupid? Even nowadays we cant replicate some of engineering wonders from the mayans and to top that there advanced cosmology and understanding of the universe has outweighed what the ' trustworthy ' western world has known up untill this last decade. so please dont talk shit, u havent got a clue, i would be more worried about the fact that you trust america my friend thats 3rd grader mentality right there
Its true, Abraham Lincoln had MORE resources than the mayans. Even if different there is absolutly no evidence that the resources the mayans had on hand made them any more superior to telling when the world would end being they didn't even understand how the sun works etc. Sure they were able to follow patterns, but those patterns did not increase their understanding of space, but rather their reaction to it! The Mayans knew nothing about cell phones, the show Lost, or the end of the world.

Why is it always assumed that people from long ago knew less? In regards to history, of course they know less than us, but you can't say the people who built all the structures the Myans did, were dumb.

FYI- The world ending in 2012 is hogwash, no one knows, even Jesus said He didn't know, only His father did.

GS:leaf:
How does building structures suddenly mean they are legit when it comes to deciding when the world would end?

This is just getting ridiculous. For example Noah story is much longer than 7,000 years old as its been a part of many cultures and then took place BEFORE those cultures existed... NOah wasn't in the bible first...

Second, if you really believe that the world is going to end in two years, then go sign up for every major credit card, take massive expensive 2 year loans on everything you own, and then talk, until then you are full of shit and or a poser hedging your bets, thus you really shouldn't be trying to say its all gonna change or end in 2 years.

I know for a fact that in 2014 the world is still here. So choose a side and live by it, and if you don't want to choose a side and stick with it then fine, but don't talk like you have chosen a side. :)

You didn't know the mayans invented time travel too. yeah pyramids, end of the world date, and time travel are all associated with them. So if you believe they saw the year 2013 as the end of the world, then you also have to be willing to accept they were also smart enough to invent time travel. Now if believing in time travel is stupid, then equally so is the belief that they could predict the end of the world without an android phone.
