64 years old with COPD.
I feel like I'm a poster child for the Walking Dead :(
I'm surrounded by this shit to boot where I live (we all are though)
I'm never going to survive if I get it, and it's inevitable that I will it seems.
Very strange feeling, I must say
Think positive (not the test positive, positive in general).

We all have to pull together like they did in WW II.

Not that any of us were around for that, but I used to ask my dad how he coped through 3 years in the Pacific Theater fighting the Japanese war machine.

He always said, "not everybody dies and we never, ever thought about giving up."

We'll just have to be tough like the greatest generation was for a while. We really have no choice. There's always light at the end of the tunnel. Keep watching for it, it will eventually be there.

That's the answer. We have to step up and realize that we are all in this together.

This could be considered a stage rehearsal for a truly serious crisis. 'We' may be in this all together, but there's plenty of 'They' that dont give a shit about anyone but themselves.
There have been those always. We've all done stupid things. Hopefully they will live and learn. Their behavior won't change mine and if we use their behavior as an excuse for our own bad behavior it helps no one.

“The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers.”

Is anyone here in self-isolation that would like to share their story? What is your day to day life like? How long have you been sick?
Apparently iv caught it roughly 2-3 weeks ago, recovered but developed a bacterial chest infection because of it, just feel drained, top of my legs ached for a day then felt like lead for a couple more, tickly cough bit of a temp for 1 day 39+ , it werent so bad, but the chest infection is a bit shitty, in all honesty fresh air & stretches have helped most, all good bro..

Yeah I'm in self isolation a.t.m as in all honesty I dont believe 95% of what the specialists say and believe ( seeing as we do not develope natural immunity) that it's a possibility I may well either still have it or have it again as I have family, the wife has had the same turn out as myself but touch wood the kids seem great, so it's more of a familial isolation than just self isolation, it's boring and repetitive and my hands are soar but every day as it comes. I / we stay occupied easily enough, I'd sure like to know from start to finite about a bizzmix light grow if you have any simple guidelines..pls

Wow dude thank you for sharing. It's good to hear about people who went through it but didn't die. Sorry to hear about the chest infection.

My DJ buddy has turned the corner, and just getting over this virus! He's 43. He said that it was fucking awful, but not the worst thing he's gone through. We're teasing him like he's Superman now, he can go anywhere and do anything. Few more days of rest and he'll be back at it. There is hope...
Ahh, to be 43 again. Or better yet, 1997 again.

Only worry was Y2K and that was a dud.

Then the shitty 21st century started and it's been down hill ever since. Except for the better weed quality from moving indoors .
