Are there any objections to using just "Bloom Nutrients" only during flower?

I think all grower Chics are hot no matter what unless they rock a gotee then i must disappear like a sneeze..

But i do appreciate all of the feed back and Diabolical i was just looking at a arsonal line of nutes this book i got called Tools for Growing by Hydrofarm. Its manditory that i get a line... :peace:

this should be your first clue to stay away.

I don't even use bloom nutes, I Don't use cannibis specific nutes, they are all designed to get your money. Google, how do plants uptake nutrients, learn how plants use them and the 16 necessary nutes. A good all purpose nutrient that keeps your plant healthy and green will take you a lot further than having to put on a lab coat and mix up some concoction.
Yea i can understand that and thats what i would want rwally anything that really dont distribute chems heavy. But i was looking at line of nute that i thought i should have to enhance growing. But do understand also that when it comes to cannabis you may learn something new everyday for rest if your life. But im the kind of person that always look for the quality, the better, the quantity and the financially convenient.

AGAIN, google, how do plants uptake nutrients, if you google it under images, you get easy to read pics. Once you learn this, you will won't make these kind of comments.

Exaaaactly... work smarter, not harder. I have a pretty big grow so I dont make shit hard for myself. My soil: promix, happy frog and ocean forest all mixed together (that feeds for the whole veg ,around 6 wks). I save my nutes for flower time when the soil has been used up of nutes then I start my feeding schedule at full strength 2x's a week (any burnage, 1x). I dont use the flowers kiss foliar spray bc I believe it gives me too much buildup on top of my already neem sprays. Really simple routine I have, then I can focus more on my canopy and controlling pests( I live in Colorado, its always a fight). ;)

There are three fundamental ways plants uptake nutrients through the root: 1.) simple diffusion, occurs when a nonpolar molecule, such as O2, CO2, and NH3 follows a concentration gradient, moving passively through the cell lipid bilayer membrane without the use of transport proteins. 2.) facilitated diffusion, is the rapid movement of solutes or ions following a concentration gradient, facilitated by transport proteins. 3.) Active transport, is the uptake by cells of ions or molecules against a concentration gradient; this requires an energy source, usually ATP, to power molecular pumps that move the ions or molecules through the membrane.[4]

  • Nutrients are moved inside a plant to where they are most needed. For example, a plant will try to supply more nutrients to its younger leaves than to its older ones. When nutrients are mobile, symptoms of any deficiency become apparent first on the older leaves. However, not all nutrients are equally mobile. Nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium are mobile nutrients, while the others have varying degrees of mobility. When a less mobile nutrient is deficient, the younger leaves suffer because the nutrient does not move up to them but stays in the older leaves. This phenomenon is helpful in determining which nutrients a plant may be lacking.

I used only a bloom nute from miracle grow for veg and flower for many many years..
I just did a new girl a mont ago in MGMC. I underestimated MG and my baby girl took some heat. Thus i didnt know that it was not organic. But shes doing good though although i had to switch her to the RO. But i like MGMC i know i just have to understand it better.CAM00714-1.jpg

I can dig that.

Would you say youve mastered
the healing plant and everything it consist of? Because it seems as if youve never made a comment such as this one.

Right Spek! And i do appreciate you taking the time to educate me Chuck..:):peace:

nope, not a master, I just understand how a plant works. And I am sure I made worse comments when I was starting out.
cool, me on the other hand have learned what the wolves are like so i try not to comment ignorantly. If you knew me youd trust me enough to past the strategy. Im a doer. But thanks though you have been the strong point of the thread. :blsmoke:

i went with the Flora Nova Bloom which has a decent NPK ratio 4-8-7.

4-8-7 is fine. That's a 1-2-1.8 ratio. Many people use 1-1-1 throughout the entire grow. Some do 1-3-2. Advanced Nutrients is reported to be 1-2 ratio of PK. So, you're in the ballbark. I've been doing 1-2-2 recently.

If you'd asked before purchasing I would have suggested Grow More Sea Grow, Jack's Classic or even MiracleGrow. I've been using GM and love it. You could get 1.5 lb jars of All Purpose and Flower & Bloom for $10 and it would last you 10-20 plants (at 1/2 tsp per watering).

Don't worry about anything. You'll be fine.

Thats truly an uplifter for a man whos deeply passionate about being a grower. Ive been on myjob from the first step ive been through turbulence thatll make some give up but i stayed rooted to the passion of earning to become one of the best. My heart seeks for all that any cannabis plant may need so im goingvto see to it that i give it my best. Ive learned so much and i learn something new every single day about cannabis. So thanks friend i appreciate you.:) CAM00698-1.jpgCAM00683-1.jpg

Beautiful plants! Be prepared for ca and mg def in flower. If you don't have calmag (or wish to treat a deficiency a single deficiency without giving more of the other nutrient) buy some inexpensive epsom salt at the grocery store (for mg def). Dissolve some eggshells (<<link) in vinegar for ca def. (It takes 2-3 weeks, so get started now.).

You're going to want to understand the amount to use of Flora Nova. Also that GH recommends a water-only every week (it's been mentioned this is to help the soil biology to recover from the synthetic nutrients, reduce salt buildup, etc.). You should find someone who uses it and get their guidance. This was discussed in the nutrient forum not long ago.
