Are they ready for harvest?

If you would like. Go right ahead. No need to ask
I’m so new to this I don’t even know how. I guess I’m just trying to see how long it takes. I’m at probably like week 9. But start of week 8 since they started showing was Thursday. I guess I’ve read a lot it’s not always 8 weeks. I could have many more. I just dont wanna start flushing too late and mess all the hard work up. Because for a first timer. I would like to believe I’m doing pretty good.

Don't worry about flushing. Just not over feed like normal. You'll be fine. As for weeks. Fuck the time. Just follow the plant. Some where in the last 10 years. Early harvest is a new thing I can't understand.
Your pistols will retract almost completely and straight up you bud will look like bud on the plant. Riping is a very patient and time consuming effort. (But we put over that time in soil growroom control seedlings and veg). Same for flower.

Your girls still have quite a bit of growth left before you should even consider a flush. Just wait it out and don't overwater or overfeed in the last few weeks. Too much stress will stunt the flowering process. Also have you looked at your trichomes through magnification? What do you see when you look at them? White and milky or Amber and dark? Maybe a quick defoliation of some of the larger fan leaves could lead to your advantage also.

Focusing on trichomes will result in you thinking that plants ready. I gave that trics bs up in 2011 and my harvests have doubled in weight an look and taste an smell so much better since I focused on trichomes maturity. Focus on the bud

Why not? Are you god? Did you invent the plant? What works and have worked for you might differ from the next grower. That old no offense line is b.s. lol.
Well first he's trying to say, most people look at trichs and are looking at sugar leaves and the top of the buds. And that's all wrong. Looking at a plant and watching the calyx swell on the plant is by far 1 easier and 2 always will be happier at the end.

What did you mean by pistols retracts and they will look like part of bud. Like wrap around the bud?
