Are we on the verge of a civil war?

Remember all those red state governors who played ball with Donald and let their states die? What effect would there be if some states indicted Donald for second degree mass murder based on the Woodward tapes? Think these clown republican governors will tow the fucking line if some from justice mentioned the feds might also be thinking about mass 2nd degree murder charges against Donald and them, perhaps a conspiracy? It is a crime to lie to the FBI some governors and other state officials should remember this.

So you think these red state fucks won't cooperate eh? Don't get in Joe's way when there are 100,000 lives on the line and it's his watch, if you though Donald was something, these assholes respond well to fear, Donald proved that. Don't forget the stakes you are playing for, forget being nice, being liked is not a priority in this matter.
just a blanket 'crimes against humanity' will do..he can't do 40 years x 250k deaths.

just announced Biden security is being beefed up..air space over his house shut down and more Secret Service are on their way..so I guess they'll be leaving fat fvcks side soon.
No doubt Donald tried to have Joe's secret service detail withdrawn or give him guys who have just been to his rallies. Wait until these people are free to speak out, I'm sure some of them will have interesting things to say.

The hopes and dreams of Donald going to prison, or those governors, is extremely small (imo). We will have to wait and see. I love all the declarations that Trump supporters should be put in jail but that seems pretty fascist. Almost seems like throwing opposition political members in jail.

In the end nothing will happen boys and girls. Those that lost office will no longer get covered in the news in 6 months and we will forget all about them. Those that won, well they won so even more doubtful something changes there.

There are many legal experts who disagree with you, Donald can be charged with mass second degree murder both federally and the states where the law allows for the charge. The governors who followed Donald and ignored their public health officials can be charged with manslaughter, with Trump the Woodward tapes meet the criteria for second degree mass murder.

Here is the latest from a legal expert who says Donald can be tried for second degree mass murder in an earlier video, he makes the case. Here he looks at the realities of a McConnel senate majority on justice.

Let's Talk Criminal Accountability for the Trump Years Under the Likely Biden/McConnell Power Split

As we wait for final results in the presidential election, people are asking what happens to the prospect of criminal investigations of the crimes that have been committed by Trump and company during the past four years IF Joe Biden wins the White House but Mitch McConnell and the Republicans retain control of the Senate. Here's a discussion of some of the obstacles and some of the opportunities of that particular split of governmental power.

Possible, unlikely.

What do you think the reaction from the people who voted Trump will have if Democrats decide to charge and then imprison Trump and other political allies? Do we really think that is going to help the nation? The officials who have to make that decision have to weigh their own political futures on that move as well. Do we think that is a risk they are willing to take as well as the unrest that would probably follow? Do you think if Trumpers take to the streets, that it will end well if Biden goes ham on them? The repercussions of such a trial for mass murder or manslaughter on the politicians will set a precedent they don't want to have used on themselves one day.

It does not matter, he and they broke the law and it can be proven. Why do you think Biden, Obama and Clinton are not in jail? Think it was lack of trying on Donald's part? Courts and juries make these decisions, not politicians, no matter how corrupt.

This is not about retribution, it is about justice, the survival of the constitution and the rule of law, no man is above the law. People and the people will have their day in court, then the jury decides, most people will go along with a fair trial on national TV.

Was looking at a brief bio of Joe and when you contrast it with Trump's, it is deeply shameful for the minority of Americans who voted for Trump. I thought it absolutely humiliated the Trump supports as patriots and human beings with sound moral judgement. The contrast in character was so stunningly stark that those who supported Trump must be asked why and accept nothing less than the truth, though you will not get it, you will get everything but the truth.

As I said before, Donald lead his supporters onto open morally indefensible ground and left them stark naked in the bright sunlight, completely un armed with facts and reason. There are even more morons, racists and bigots in America than these Trump supporters, many liked him and what he stood for, but were scared or embarrassed or couldn't stomach him.

Lets be real here, Americans are fundamentally too lazy and soft for a civil war. We would need to see mass unemployment and homelessness on a Great Depression era scale for it to happen. The simple fact is that most Americans are seeing their basic needs met, while the motivation to fight a civil war is extreme injustice, exploitation, and poverty. Instead, we'll see the usual small scale extremist violence that marred the 99.9% peaceful protests during the summer, and the bumbling stupidity of a handful of right wing militias. If Trump steals the election outright, I think a more likely outcome would be a General Strike and mass civil disobedience.

it's not like we haven't had him do this already..surely this is not a serious post?..Crimes Against Humanity is pretty popular for despots + it's on tape.

hopefully, he'll just die since that's what old people do and put us out of our misery because it isn't until he is removed from society that we will be free from him.

That is not how it works though.

Politicians don't decide who to charge or imprison. Democrats will not be deciding that, no matter how much Trump has tried to convince people otherwise.
