I havent read completely through the law but skimming it I think the fees are going to be based off of what it will cost to administer the program by the government. So the fees have not been calculated yet for the patients, only the limits for the dispensaries.

The entire legislation is geared toward non-profit dispensing of medicine. If you are a caregiver you can only charge what it cost you to grow the plants, you cannot charge your patients for labor.

but the nutes cost $650 per liter! They are special nutes!

hahaha

You will have to see a doctor and get re evaluated every year...
the dollar amount for the renewal depends on the doctor u go to. and yeah, u probly have to renew every year. renewal is usually like half price

let me just pull that out...

Vote no on prop 19??? Why??
it was just Richard Lee's way of making a monopoly on the industry. didnt think it was well written at all. and it had a lot of restrictions(5x5 grow area, and a 1oz limit). i think we could do a LOT better than prop 19. especially considering the governator made possesion of 1oz and under a $100 ticket. i think the law should have been AT LEAST 4oz limit

check out the bill North Carolina(i think) had. off the top of my head, theres a 16oz limit and u can grow basically as much as u want

Sup AZ? Hows it goin NL? I've been thinking bout moving back. I'm a card carrier in CO, living in the midwest, and own property in AZ. So yeah due to some business & also personal shit I left CO and dying to start growing again. Its like Rosenthal says, smoking it is not addictive. Growing it is.

Anyway, when does the law go into effect, April 1?

Im up in the Surprise area.. I been growing under the radar for awhile.. I am interested in joining forces with serious people. I want to be the "Infuser" or the guy that has the dispensary. Hit me up and lets see where we need to go from here.

ive got a family member in AZ that would benefit from a medical card. when i read the law a while back, it seemed to be only for patients with really bad diagnosis. like aids, cancer, glaucoma, etc. is this true?
could someone with really bad insomnia get it? she cannot sleep without taking like 4 sleeping pills. when she does smoke, she takes one small hit, and shes asleep. the problem is that she is VERY paranoid about getting caught with it... even in her home. anyways... do u think she could get it?

I would say that she needs to talk to her personal doctor, especially if she has a history.

was watching the news, and some guy got busted, with a dozen plants. Really thats all that they said about it? I assume he was probably living in a apartment or something. just goes to show that they are still busting people. I imagine the leos will be more aggressive in the coming months

Has anyone heard anything about an edible clause? In CO I have my license saying the doctor recommends edibles for me thus allowing me to grow more plants to get the same medical effect as smoking it. It works basically by me keeping records of how much dried bud it takes to make one batch of brownies, cookies, whatev. And tracking the rate I go through a tray of brownies. I've seen some who've had an actual plant count on their doctor's recommendation. One was as high as like 45.

Oh and Mx450. I'll do something with ya. I have a house out that way. Im out of state right now.

:confused:The one thing I'm having trouble finding clarification on is this...

So, I know my mother will qualify for MMJ. She's got fibromyalgia but lives in the north eastern part of the state, Pinetop/Showlow area. She's not really able to grow up there and she's physically unable to do the work as well. I've read a patient can pick a designated caregiver, but with me being down here in Phoenix would I even be able to grow for her? I'm sure I'd be within 25 miles of a dispensary.

That's the only question I've yet to find an answer. Any help is much appreciated!

Now, I am not a lawyer and the interpretation of the law might change but here is the relevant paragraph.

(f) A DESIGNATION AS TO WHO WILL BE ALLOWED TO CULTIVATE MARIJUANA PLANTS FOR THE QUALIFYING PATIENT'S MEDICAL USE IF A REGISTERED NONPROFIT MEDICAL MARIJUANA DISPENSARY IS NOT OPERATING WITHIN TWENTY-FIVE MILES OF THE QUALIFYING PATIENT'S HOME.
It appears to be based on the location of the patient and not of the caregiver.
