hello,

I recently started rooting some arjan haze #1, great white shark and the cheese

they are all 2 weeks old

i keep temp around 22-28 during day, 20 at night and Humidity around 50%-70%

they are planted in roockwool, no nutrients so far and running under 200W CFL

the light how ever was a bit too close around 7cm away.
the two arjan haze seems to be a bit struggeling. i think its overwatering, the cheese great white shark in the last picture seems to be healthy enough

please help!

Start weak like 1/4 strength and ease up as the plant grows. You're going to need a bloom nutrient too. Is that coming from Holland also?

It's possible you are keeping your cubes too wet, they should be moist not soggy. If you think they are too wet put the cubes on a towel or a pad of paper towel and let it suck some moisture out.

DO NOT feed these seedlings. You will kill them through nutrient burn. The cotyledons (first 2 sets of small leafs from germination) contain all the needed nutrients for the plant until they die (the cotyledons) once they die off (normally week 2-3) you should begin feeding. These seedlings look 4-9 days old.

Well i fed them once with a light solution 5.5 ph and EC 1.2 and im gonna water a bit then give them another dose.
But its possible i overwatered them the second week.
I have not figured out my bloom nutrient tho. Any ideas when to start using it?

Thanks for the reminder on the calcium :)

1.2ec or 600ppm is way to high of a feeding at this stage! Less is more and you're gonna fry them for sure.

We'll I only fed them once 3 days ago. 4-3-6 2ml per liter and up till now no watering. How can lower the EC in that case?

This is what they look today after feeding. one is getting better but the other one is looking scary
the cheese and great white shark and looking great so far.

we added a 2ml liter of 4-3-6 twice in the past 6 days.

its been 3 weeks and I'm thinking of transplant them to a hydro ebb and flow system planted in clay

my question is. how many times should i feed them a day? and when should i just water them?

I receieved the Powerfeeding fertilizer that i mention earlier
