Athena Ag Nutrients

Fertilizer prices are all over the map depending on location. Some places shipping is more than the product. All a grower can do is get what's available and provides what the plant needs. Brand is not very important. Many put too much importance on brand or think a brand is some special elixir. All a fertilizer needs to do is provide macro and micronutrients. Most of those are coming from the same factories. Different brands just mix them differently.
This is the new line I'm most interested in currently..

That's basically a P/K and micronutrient without any N or Ca. Both of which are easily added at mixing time with some calcium nitrate.

I've used this for years. 6-7 weeks into flowering I just feed the Micro. There is enough Ca in the tap water I use at that stage so no more is needed.

I believe that Josh uses a 50/50 mix of CalNit and Calcium Chloride in later flowering to reduce Nitrogen.

He's been on the forefront of cannabis crop steering the past few years, and his results speak for themself.

Sometimes you gotta just think for yourself and observe what your plants need. 6.0 EC is ridiculous.
Yeah never went that high, 3.0 ec feedings already got me nervous, just tried it, didn’t work. Then just didn’t wanna deal with it. It would cost me less that’s the only reason I’m still somewhat interested. H&G is great, but expensive.

I got a text message from FedEx yesterday telling me that three packages were on their way to me, which was a bit confusing. Today I logged into FedEx.com to see what it was, and found this..

Gotta love those fed-ex alerts. They shipped.
I got 3 boxes as well. The fed-ex driver was calling me, but I was in the greenhouse when he arrived. He said he was not trying to drag the hand truck back to the truck lol Luckily my step-grandson was visiting & let me know.

I still havent got any Fedex alert so I doubt they are sending me anything. Shipping to hawaii probably costs too much. If something shows up, cool, if not I'm not going to bug them on IG about it.

So any smoke report using the Athena pro line? How's the flavor does it make different strains taste the same? That's what I heard but still have not tried it yet. Will be soon but I'm all about the flavor!

It’s just a well balanced salt line. It won’t make your strains taste the same more than any other line. If you grow good herb it will be good with any of the better salts. I think the temp thing people complain about is more on the grower
