I need help.

My indoor DWC plants are simply too large for my CFLs and I don't have the space for a HPS or the money for cooltube etc. I need to get these plants outside.

These are the same Bubblegums that were at deaths door 2 weeks ago after going for a drive in which the broke their supports and fell over. There stretched as hell but they're in 12/12 and starting to flower. I neeeed the bud, so I need the suns rays, however if I just stick the res outside temps will soar and all will be lost. I have no money or ability to put refrigerators etc in the res. I've thought about digging a hole and putting the res inside but I'd like to hear other ideas first please.

Hey just wondering what wattage are those lights?

How do you rate those avenger wings?

And what temps are you hitting in your tent without cooltubes?

Also you want to lower your lights, unless you moved them up high to take a better the picture.
#Ive got 2 600s and a 400 inbetween them

#Im not sure man they seem to do near the same as any it dose reflects the light more and dispers the heat bit better

#i was getn right up to 32oC thats why the shades are so high i had put super spreaders to help with the heat that helped but keep getn random hot nyts so iv left shades at 600mm above the plants to avoid shock from the heat m8 told me you can realy stun your plant if gets to hott.

#yea ive lowed the end one to 500mm and have been follwing the temp seems allgood so i mght lower the other 2 in next couple days and hopfuly the good temp keeps up

If you can lower the lights as close as possible, also I have the exact same tent, consider getting cool tubes and use the reflectors that you already have.

Is this your 1st crop? If you have grown this same style grow before how much did you harvest or how much do you think you will harvest?

Im currently using1 tent with 2x600w & 1x1000w at night when my 1000w turns on, temps reach 35 degrees, and my seedlings that I have growing in there are the moment seem to be taking all that light and heat up. I find that the hotter my room is the lower my RH is, my RH was hitting 91% prior putting in the bigger lamp now my RH is 40% but my temp has risen between 3-5 degrees.

I think to a certain extent that temp isnt as important as RH, as long as the temp aint too hot nor too cold.

Anyways your room is looking pretty good keep us updated on how things are going...:bigjoint:

AC up darkcurs..
some strains do better in heat then others, growing multi strains ive seen some plants react straight away to high temps with leaf curling and frying but others just chug along..
and thats a shitload of light for some seedlings, wait to there bigger and switch all lights and save some elec..
i use a t5 flouro setup for seed poppin, its good for like the first 2-3 weeks imo..

That t5 setup cost me fuck all too, only paid for the globes, not the ballasts.. i can tell u how to do it if anyones interested

So go down to Bunnys, into the lighting section..
they sell T5 setups by Nelson in a long green box, now these setups include the normal long white metal housing that u see most flouros fixed to the cieling..
INSIDE the long metal housing is the ballast and fixtures that the globes are attached to..
The instructions require you to unsccrew the metal housing and expose the globe fittings, clip them into place and then screw the housing back together..
So ok, what i did was remove the ballast and globe fixtures from the housing and screwed the housing back together.. minus the ballast and fixtures.. Now the brainiacs down at Bunnies have no idea that the ballast and fixtures are missing from inside the housing.
So i just told them that it wasnt right for what i wanted it for and got a refund, 30 seconds done..

Um so this isnt for some peace loving hippy considering its..well stealing kinda.. but i sleep at night, Bunnings will survive..

I took the door off an old wardrobe and painted it white and attached the ballasts to one side and the globe fixtures to the other.. Each globe fixture takes 2 globes, i have 4 fixtures attached to the one door with 8 globes..
The Nelson T5 set-up doesnt come with a plug u plug into a wall, so i cut the chord off an old heater and used that.. DONT let it scare anyone off, it just brown to brown, blue to blue and green to green..
The T5 setup also comes with globes but take the globes back in the box when u take it back for ur refund.. and buy ur own.

ye same I've always been totally oblivious to how t5's are setup and ballasted (real word?)
yeh ADL, the globes are just like normal flouros but much thinner and skinny..
And the ballast are hmm say u put 5 tim tams end to end, thats about the size of the ballast.. long flat and thin
