1 tonne wacker neuson 803
I have one since new. Condenses down to fit through a house door. Same engine and hydraulic as a 2.5 tonne. Will drill down in heavy clay and pull out 2.2m deep. Digs to 1.8m deep with bucket. Runs on less t hgan 10lt diesel a day.
We’ve got a little cat at work we abuse pretty heavily and it just keeps on plugging. 1t is a bit small for what we’re doing but I hear they go pretty hard.

We rip the one at work up and down the steep banks. Better than the posi on a slope.
'Dunno what you're doing to get such a good germination rate? I've soaked a heap of seeds recently & whilst they popped initially, once I got them into Jiffy's, they just don't go anywhere.

I'm wondering whether we (in Aus.) get sent old seeds at the end of the Northern Hemisphere season. The only ones that have properly taken-off for me have been fresh home-made ones or ones swapped with other folks on here.

That or else I'm a complete plonker & doing something fundamentally wrong......:dunce:
I soak mine for 20 mins in luke warm water. Then transfer into jar blacked out with duct tape. Acts as insulation too. Paper towel folded and slightly better than damp with the warm water. Light sheet on top then closed up. Within 24 hrs seeds up.
I'll go to shed and take photo.
Also cause I'm getting lazy and it gets cold in rural Vic I use a heat Mat. Never used it before but I loved in Melbourne years ago when growing.

Looking on track to me mate, looks good its all about to go down.

I can see blisters and a sore back in your future lol
Not a fucking chance I am digging them

Handy for the dam but maybe a little bit less handy on a steep slope lol
Its rolling so have gates and access for excavators I did my due diligence ;)

I used to love a good day or three on the maddock and shovel but now I get sore just thinking about digging. Turning the soil pile twice a week is bad enough and it's only 4 cubes or so :(

I am old enough that a fence post or two is ok but anything more than that I looking for alternatives

Edit: Turning 4 cubes is not nothing

I've seen a D9 on its roof in the bottom gully out in the bush, dude must have rolled 60/70m down to the bottom. Dozer was in pretty good shape still, wouldn't have liked to be in it though.
Yeah I nearly (about 2 in of tyre left on rock) put a 30t moxy down the dam bank a few months back. Took the dozer and the 20t excavator to get me back up on top. Little bit of poo did come out though and about the only time I put my seatbelt on.
