Botanicare line of products are usually always organic, atleast everything i've used from them. Is it their Pure Blend Pro grow/bloom? With autopots it needs to be pure synthetic or it will clog like you mentioned. Also don't forget the root disc at bottom or you'll regret it, ask me how I know lol...

Domes? I use anything mixed in my coco. Usually clay, hydroton or perlite. Yes you can switch anytime. Just make sure you understand your new feed before you dose. For autopots in coco I suggest General Hydro/Flora Series. Very stable synthetic nute that's easy ratio to mix.

The disc are a must! Otherwise the roots grow up into the valves and they will not work properly.

If it was you I talked to about Auto Pots a long while ago,Looks like you went with them, there a great way of growing.Plants look super Healthy.Did you put a Airing in the bottom of pot .If not I would defo try it ,So you have that extra air going to roots ,has well has a pump moving nutrient Res around.I have been using cages last few i have done,to support them buds, and they did OK ,but my weight at the end suffered since I put that extra plant in there, and stop scrog growing. Some times less is more in my room, when I say I'm getting less ,I mean same weight has I got from two,So I'm going back to doing two in my room again .This has been the worse grow I have done in about 10 year ,burnt to a crisp,It's because I never changed The main feed pipe. The Horse pipe coming from the Res,I normally change it every 2 grow ,if not salt builds up in it,I buy new pipe that comes of the main one ,the spaghetti tubing .Every grow ,if not you end up with it blocking at some point.A few little tips from me to ya ,been using em for About 9/10 year now.

Good Luck Peace
Tyke.

Be interesting to see the outcome of the Super soil one, because I say all the feed the plants get it got through the tray the plants sit in.So if there is only water in there then that's all they will be pulling up.Be great this to see what happens.I use Coco once there in there Auto pots,I only hand feed for around 4/6 day just till roots hit bottom ,then it's tank on.Have ya got the mats in the bottom of the trays ,to stop crap getting through to the Ball Cocks.I only do two plants ,and found a great Res,is a dwc bucket turned up side down ,A lot smaller than some of the tanks. Also I find it better because your mixing nutes up more regular, means it's a more fresh batch .Im not a fan of having big amounts of nutes been kept stewing unless your doing loads plants. My plants drink from week 5 ,onwards .4 litre each per day ,during lights on.next to nothing is uptake. During lights off .Dont get me wrong ,bigger tank if your away a lot..I go Abroad twice a year ,each holiday is booked for the first week of flowering ,and I found the room runs sound ,and the one dwc bucket works a treat ,because during this week, the plants roots have only just hit bottom .You will have no problems going away with this set up though,I used to do full rooms with them, two 100 ltr tanks serving 30 plants .only went to the house twice a week max

Im getting an aquarium tank and new nutrients after work today.

Watered yesterday so im transplanting to autopots tomorrow.

Wish me luck

Good luck ,If there not in Auto Pots yet, then only give them a bit of water, you want the roots to hit base ASAP.then you can get tank running .Get a few barrier mats, stop them roots from getting through to the ball cocks .If you don't get all these little things done at the start its a fucker later on.And can also cause you un wanted problems.I would defo advice getting a cheap fish tank pump ,and air rings in bottom of pots ,the roots love it .you also putting air into the thin layer of nutes/water in the tray then too.there cheap to buy ,so well worth doing .Cut the holes bigger in the ring ,most hydro shops sell air rings ,for auto pots ,but holes are all ways too small .

Yea you have to feed the medium for the first week ,till the roots hit the bottom of the Auto pots,If you are only just putting them into them.Dont wet the medium through make them work for moisture, that way the roots will hit the pot bottom faster, then you can just rig them to tank, and all feeding done through trays via tank ballcocks. Then it's just a case of making sure that everything's running ok every so often,Make sure the ball cocks are clipped into the t in tray,or you might have a wet room below your grow room,Pretty easy system to use though, you will be fine, giz a shout if I can help i will do ,
Good luck

I use straight coco(comes with perlite in it) in my pots. No stones/pebbles in the bottom, no air domes, no air stones in the res and they work just fine. The system was developed to be a set and forget way to produce. The air domes were developed AFTER the system got good results. IMO using stones and pumps and whatnot you might as well do DWC.

I would defo recommend using Coco ,I have tried all sorts and now I just love the ease of coco and clay balls 60/40.The nutrients are the same all way through Canna Coco a/b ,with just big bud and PK 13/14 .these are the only 3 I have used for years now.

I will run coco-hydroton 60-40 next round as well. I have tried a few different medias but i think coco is the best for autopots. I have 12 gallons of new clay hydroton and half a brick of coco. I think it will fill all 4 perfectly :D I think I will go clean out my gear it has been soaking in bleach and water for 2 weeks and it is time to flush it all out and get it ready for seed drop.
