I cant recall which member is was but they took a large batch of pollen and separated it into several folded envelopes. I really like this idea because it allows you to pull out one "pack" at a time for use, decreasing the chance of condensation

I'll search and see if I can find the pic. (it may trigger "memories" from the 80s for some) lol
Possibly, straws of Y chromosomes will be the future!

I think you're correct. A brand new breeding approach is just over the horizon. I suppose I liken it to the emerge of tissue cultures in the cannabis world. Just a few years ago it was unheard of outside of academia and now its become a widely acceptable method of preserving and regenerating older cultivars.

I guess for now, collecting pollen to hunt lines ourselves seems to be easiest route...well, not necessarily easy.
One day, I hope to dive as deep into the hunt as you and xtsho have gone :)
