a lil over 2 ft I think.. basicly I let em go till I felt like I was running out of room for them.
Genie is already 30" I wanted to keep her for cloning but I might be better off with one of the smaller ones, faster growth is not necessarily bigger yield,
I wish I knew Alices sex because she would make a great mother. She's already over 2ft too, the smaller ones are only 19" I will be putting Alice in 12/12 soon and will wait maybe another week for Jay and Dog, this way, my harvest will be spread out and won't have to rush anything.

have ya thought of taking clones from them and force flowering to determine sex? sexing the clone you will know what you have for your mother without having to take her out of your veg room

not saying this will really happen but from my experience the really tall growing plants usually end up being male.

So ill be sending much good vibes to you that they will be females

Yes I have got a clone from Alice it has taken almost 2 weeks but is showing a little bit of root, not quite enough yet to plant it though. As soon as the root is long enough I will put it in soil for a week and then flower to see what the sex is.

That's if I haven't already put Alice in to flower.

Gotbeat, I sort of agree about the males, mine are tall and thin but they were slow starters, my females were taller until the male got put outside, then he started growing.
Genie is my biggest and she is Female. I have 6 females 2 males, 1 suspected male and just Alice my sativa is unknown sex so I am happy with the ratio.

I will add to that, that my females are all more bushy and Alice is as bushy as the best of them, it/she has a lot of feminine traits.

Alice

She is a bit droopy as she has only just been watered, I should have
waited 20 mins before taking the pic but she still looks good though.
I think it looks too bushy for a male.

Looking great Barking!
How much head room do you have again?
Unity
About 5ft safely under the light, I can probably go to 6 if I switch the veg and bloom areas over, which I may have to do at some point in the near future.

Edit: PS, The one I topped was Eden who turned out to be a male, I am hoping to have a go at making some hash in the next week or so as I have 3 males and no use for them.

What size bubble bags are you going to get? I got the one gallon ones, bad choice, it gets old in a hurry. I would get the 5 gallon ones, a lot easier to work with. Let me know if you get anything from those males, I doubt that it is worth the effort, but always a good learning experience :mrgreen:e

I would change stuff around before they get too big, that way it will be less stress full on you and the plants. It can become a bitch to move these plants when they get heavy with buds ;)

Last thing, start flowering soon or you WILL have a jungle where the bottom 2/3 become to shaded to produce anything meaningful

You are doing great mate, keep it up!

Well I don't have any bubble bags as yet but I might try the method that gotbeat5-0 used, also, satman rocks made some hash without bubble bags. So it all depends on when I do it and if I can afford to get the bags. I am considering changing my flower room to either 600w HPS or I might stick with the 400w I already have and add a 400w MH. What I have is OK for now but when I put the others in to flower I will really need to have at least 100w per plant if I want some tight buds on my ladies.

I will just have to see how it goes, I am off work for quite a while so the money will likely be coming from a few things I'm going to put in auction.

My electric is costing me over £3 a day too. Mostly because I have three heaters running in my terrapin tanks 24hrs a day adding to the cost of my lights and fans.

I don't want to end up spending more than I eventually save from not having to buy my bud.

PS I have some fluoros and cfls to boost the lighting lower down when my plants are taller. At the moment they don't really add any light to what is already there.
