Bartering on Craigslist. Who's done it?

I recently put a item on CL and after a bunch of junk offers like a hide-a-bed and a gutted hot tub some one offers to trade up some weed.

Now Im kind of a skeptic on doing this because who knows what the hell I'm getting into of if it is even quality smoke.

How many of you have done this? Was it a good or bad experience?

I trade buy,sell on CL 24/7/365.I stay away from the 420 trades and hookers though.Last night I bought two new snowmobile belts for 25 each off some guy.They cost about 150 new from the dealer

I Craigslist a lot. Stay away from the drugs and personals, quick way to get robbed and beat, if not worse.

I NEVER EVER EVER meet anybody in private or at/near my house.I ALWAYS meet at the gas station/grocery store(which is also the troopers place)

people will come check out the sled or dirt bike,argue about the price,then come back and steal it.Happens all the time

I wish I could do that but I'm in the middle of nowhere. I'm always getting these really old guys kicking tires and telling me their life stories. Annoying as shit when they waste an hour of your day and they never planned to buy shit.

lol,I hear ya on that one.I have totally spazzed out on a few tire kickers before for wasting my day

I like to keep my eyes on the free stuff. I've only sold a few items.

I hear a lot of stories about people getting robbed and I have always wondered if people went with hopes of getting high. That has to suck.

There are good deals on CL. You gotta weed out the scams. Talk to the person directly . Usually they are the ones scared to meet me . I've even got some zips from CL also. Been about a couple years since I've done the CL 420 . Since I grew my own no real good deals on that front. Rather just hit the cannabis club. But all my phones ( I go thru phones often) iPods , Xbox , I even got my car on CL. I'm budget minded . But like I said , you gotta talk to them first . Not email nor text

Lmao I feel sorry for you. I get that most of the time dealing with these girls out here. I just want to hang out ans smoke but they just want to get emotional.

Yeah I've got and sold stuff on Craigslist. Sold my truck on there. Trying to sell some camera lenses on there right now. All my transactions have been fine but they've all been pretty straight forward. Stay away from personals and if you can meet in a public place.

I recently traded some guy my classic volcano with no valve kit (bought off cl for $100) and got 1.25 oz of golden goat and sour d plus 2 glass pieces since he was a glass blower. Really cool dude but you have to know what you're getting into. I always bring a buddy just in case since its so hit or miss.

Yeah having someone with you is a good idea.

Ive done a few trades, sometimes it works out great.

I have never used the barter section but I check it daily.. along with wanted and free stuff..
