BD lights do grow plants, just double the wattage you would use per the information from the websites promoting and reviewing the lights. I did a search one year ago on LED grow lights and ended up in internet hell promoted by Kind, Black Dog, Advanced Platinum and the likes. Just wish I would have found this forum sooner.
