Best Blueberry?

I did a blueberry twist by advanced female seeds, one of the tastiest bluez type strains ive ever had, sweet and skunky and had strength too, unlike a lot of other blues I've had. Did the seedsman one too, nice but did not yield well compared to the strains next to it.

My buddy has a cross he made a few years back that we keep a cut of around. It's part Blueberry. Some runs it's almost full on Blueberry with kushy cheesy undertones; sometimes OG and cheese up front with berry background. Same cut but it will taste different depending on conditions, I guess.

Matts Blue bonnet is his version of blueberry I've always thought. I asked him about it and if memory serves its like the "old school" DJ BB; so keep us posted on those.

Is that your first bb run? Did you have lots of fun?

Nah... that's his cut. It's not really a blueberry (I think only 25%) just throws blueberry terps. It's easy like an Afghani so probably not the same as running blueberry. Ran a few of Eskobar's "Blueberry Projeckt" beans some years ago, but there weren't any good phenos in mine and most were hermies. Some others found winners but they weren't common. I had a bunch of his Blueberry Sativa line beans too but not anymore. Hopefully, Matt will find something good in them to work into his lines.

A strain called Blueberry Muffin. But idk who the breeder was. There is a breeder out of Humboldt that has a strain called that. It may have been theirs.

As for DJ Short, anybody who bought 5 or 10 is very unlikely to find her. She needs to be hunted for.

ALL blueberry strains today have her pheno harnessed in them and that's a fact. Anybody who says the original is weak.. hasn't pheno hunted it like they were supposed to.

Humboldt Seed Company (not HSO). I don't think it's a pure DJ blueberry line, but their website says it's at f9 now. At one time, I think I knew what they crossed into it, but I don't remember now.

Yup that's them. I was lucky enough to get some bagseed out of it in 2017 while my people had a run going. I unfortunately mixed two batches of seeds up and either gave away my muffin last year, or I sprouted 12 last month and have like 20 cuts going lol If it's not her, it's an Afghan. Just waiting for a little more expression to see. Was a garlicky male and one other garlicky. The rest are sweeeeet smelling which is not usual for Afghan. I'm really hoping it's the BB. The BB's and Cheeses are my preferred profiles.

Just went and looked out of curiousity and it's Purple Panty Dropper(Purple Haze x Oregon Grape x Matanuskan Mist) and Razzle Berry(Rasperry Kush x Purple Kush) crossed.

Ive grown a few of these and its like a very sweet blueberry syrup taste, i noticed when growing the plants looked nothing like dj's work, almost pink looking bud iirc.

But alas, at least three of those strains have the Purple Thai which is where DJ got the berry pheno. He said that's where the Krinkle and Variegation came from as well.

Edit: I stand corrected. The grape doesn't and the Purple Kush came from a Purple Afghani. But still, she's in there by way of the PPD
