best lighting option for a closet grow?

I have a closet that is 6ft long, 5ft tall and 2.5ft deep.

I have been using 3 32w t8 ballasts, 2 23w cfl and 2 42w cfl. I have 6 plants in 3gal pots, and a couple of fans in it.

This was my first grow and I am not to impressed with the results. I know a lot of it had to do with it being my first grow and not knowing how to read what my plants wanted. I was just wondering if another lighting system would be better for my area, or should I just add more CFLs?

try to get HPS or add alot of cfls, depends on your budget, but ill go with an HPS if i had the room like that.

I don't have a ton of ventilation at the moment. what watt hps should I get for a closet that size? 1000w would be a little to much for that size of an area wouldn't it?

Get yourself a 400 watt HPS & a good fan to help control the temps. I use 2 150 watt HPS lights myself & with my new grow box I'm going to use 4 150 watt HPS lights. I got them all free or I would simply purchase a 400 or maybe 1000 watt HPS.

I've grown with Floro's & HPS & there is no comparison. HPS kicks ass.
