so i have looked up Mylar panda film and aluminum foil currently using foil as its cheap and does a OK job my question is what would be best to use and easiest to install i heard Mylar gets dull after a year and can cause hot spots still while panda film is tougher but seems like a greater fire hazard what are u using and what do u recommend is best bang for my buck thanks to those who can help with this dilemma Smoke Good and stay High my friends

Mylar is the de-facto standard, next cheapest imho is flat white paint. 10 sheets of mylar reflective emergency blankets can be purchased for $5 at a local hardware store.

Reflectivity by greatest to lowest:
Mylar - 95-97%
Foylon - ~95%
Panda Poly - 75%-90%
Flat White paint - 75%-85%
Aluminum Foil - ~55%

Basically, anything you've mentioned would be an improvement. I would suggest poly, since it has the lowest chance for creating hotspots (aka none) of the high reflectivity materials.

look at orca it looks good, but it is expensive and reasonably new, not too many folk using it you can get it in small amount now if you shop around
the benefit is it will give more light to your plants even when it is hung flat as most reflective screening is

i normally use the diamond mylar, unless you angle the mylar correctly so the light is beamed back to the plants much of the light is wasted
plants also need to be close to get any real benefit

Orca grow film looks neat, but so far the only review I've found sounds very "shillish". I'm going to stick with Panda being my first choice for now, but keeping a close eye on how Orca's reviews and use develops... Nice catch skunk!

Centipede, given your ability to articulate and punctuate properly, I'm listening. If you have further reviews, I'll be all ears. I'm still saying Mylar is tops, but I'm always open minded :)

I have orca film in my veg room and that shit is the bomb!!!

It's super reflective, cleans easy and is tough as nails...seriously tough.

Mylar is the "defacto standard" if your a douche stuck in the 70's. impossible to hang flat, noisy as hell if its blowing around, and it is a mother fucker to keep clean.

If you can't afford orca than panda is next best thing.
