I have a hard enough time programming my timer for 12/12 lol
hahaha

i just switched to 12 12 on my scrog/lst test plant, and DEL6666 youve convinced me to throw another tiny clone in with it, i want to see this 12-12 from start in action thats crazy

Now I have to try it. At least its something I can do today. Great idea.

Oh and its funny one dude posts he gets 6oz from his plant (thats fucken amazing by the way I never got more than 3, I use cfl though). And the dude that posts after him is like, how do you work a timer. hahahaha

these are all 12-12 from seed peeps..:weed:
very impressive del ... the are awesome looking ladies I might stick a seed or two under my lights just to say i tried it .. but like i said before im kinda stuck in my ways of veging and flowering lol but i admire you going against what must have been a lot of chuckles and naysayers till you proved its possible

yea the fucky part is he is at 12 12. Im doing 11-13 and then reducing light every two weeks by half an hour. You think clones would respond well in that environment?

you mean you want to take a clone of ? age and put it under 12/12? not sure what you mean
Im at flowering now. 11-13. In two weeks I will cut the light by half hour. But I was thinking of cutting a clone from my flowering plant. Its been flowering for like a week. So maybe next week I will take a cutting and just allow it to root in the 11-13 tent, and then just put it in a bucket and give it nutes all within the same tent. Bascially make a clone and go right to flowering. The only difference is my lighting schedule is being cut by half an hour each 2 weeks so I wonder how the clone would respond.

i dont know how well it would root but i would be interesting in finding out ... a little experiment that wont cost you anything but a bit of room ....

fucken done then guys. Ill clone her next week. I actually wanted another Burmese kush I only had the one plant in there, and she is a fucken runt so we can now compare the clone yeild to the mothers yeild. Great idea.

but it will still take however long your plants take to flower and every plant will veg for a week or two in the beginning ..

Yea dont worry, I would take the cutting this week but all the other plants are like 2-3 feet tall now and the stupid burmese is like under a foot still. So Im giving her another week to grow a fucken bit. Ill post pics and make a new topic when Im there. What should I call it? Making clones with flowering only during a diminished light schedule?

See bro, the burmese kush is the same age as the big plants. Look how fucken runty that burmese is. She was stuck in the seed too at the start. So she will be the subject of our cloning experiment. Im basically posting this pic because when people see the burmese they will think Im a shitty grower so I had to include pics of my nicer ones lol.

I think there might be some misunderstanding. It isn't 12-1 like 12 on, one off, 12 on, one off. I believe they are advocating a modified 12/12 cycle for veg that has one hour of light in the middle of the 12 dark to keep the plant from flowering. I veg 24 hrs but have been unconvinced that any period of dark in veg does any good. But I'm open minded and may try this.

I have heard that 11 on and 13 off is a good pattern for flowering but I still use 12/12. I doubt that one hour one way or the other makes any difference.

no 12-1 is called the gas lantern routine .. for veging on a different timeing schedule .. the fowering is done on a diminshing light schedule .. start at 12 hrs on and droppign 1/2 every week or 2 .. there is lots written about it

I've seen the results from using this technique. My buddy is doing it right now, and I will be doing it on my clones starting tonight. Buds show up twice as quick and start to produce twice as fast.
