Hi All

I have a 3x3x7 tent........i was thinking of using a 4" big blue in line ozone generator in my exhaust to kill the smell of the 12 plants in there- does anyone have any experience with this model?? My exhaust goes from the 600 watt light to the 4 inch fan then exits out the tent- the other side of the light is left open and the tents air is sucked through it. I've tried carbon filters but i still get that "skunk" smell...........so anyone use this model......thanks :weed:

u lucky bastard to be able to afford that.

it will work great. I have a regular model of a uv ozozne , like a titan, and I took the lid off and put it right in the duct and it works awesome. It is all I use now.

It is way better that way too because I have tried it out with the gen in the tent and it almost killed all my plants in one day. So venting it out is perfect.

complete smell negation in less than a second.

You ever find out any more info? Did you get the unit, or what did you decide and how does it work??

I just installed the 8" x 20" 3 bulb/ballast unit(BigBlue).......thumbs up all the way!!! I had tried everything for this stinky shyte I am growing atm and everything failed(Uvonair100, Can50, dump area 4x4x8). This thing KICKS ASS completely. And you can shut down the individual bulbs via switches to minus or add ozone accordingly.......

I can add. Make sure you exhaust completely! I was not exhausting compeelty and I found out by lighting a match that ozone air was blowing back into my room! That is why I am thinking my plants display mag def and yeild low even tho I feed cal mag! Off went my ozone, lol, back to charcoal. Good luck.

Yes, great point! and your probably right about those symptoms you were having. I have the bigblue at the end of my exhaust run, in a dump room, with the inline fans there pulling, always. My intake is completely passive and there is a back-flow damper in the exhaust run as well. The exhaust exits the dump via passive as well, which could create a problem is why I installed the damper. The ozone is on the same circut as the fan so if something happened in the wiring both would shut down.

On a side note:
I did a pretty large harvest(for me it is) of the stinky WW the night before last of a couple of lbs. I had all 3 bulbs in the BigBlue fired up and exhausting at about 200cfm, and usually run it at about 300+cfm, and went to chopping not a worry in the world of smell---I got it covered, no worries here, or hurry. Well, my ol' lady came over about 15 mins after I got there and came over our intercom: YOU BETTER COME OUT HERE...... half expected a cop to be standing there, not really. But I 'll tell you what: ozone mixed with Smelly-ass WW is really smelly. I could smell the ozone as plain as day, just as I could the skunks. I'd need a warehouse to mix it all up in. As soon as you got 15-20' from the grow the smell was gone except a bit of the ozone..... I'd think you could just slow the exhaust down so it mixes better with the ozone--but wasn't an issue while the grow was going on. And all's I did was chop them up to go in totes--no trimming. I still have to trim; have it all on screens atm in a tent with the Can50 on 400cfm......in the house. Once I go to trimming.......well, haha........shyte.

Have a great weekend!!
