Unless you are a hydro grower, like me.

Last grow I did try coco, but it seems have gnat eggs, cause this is the only time I've ever had to deal with them
Hydro is different for sure.
Yes whitebb, people soak paper towel small pot transplant all this extra work. One thing I do notice is doing final method the light should be real close till they pop. They like the light and heat from it.
I leave my t5 a couple feet above them. It may take a few days to pop but I prefer it that way.

I've dug them up to see with bag seeds. The ones I plant straight to final pot will sprout a day or two behind the paper towel method but will already have 4-6 inches of root by the time it breaks ground.

To each his own. More than one way to skin a cat. Its just what works for me.

Big shout out to BigSmoBro! Sometimes it's the simplest things that baffle me. Thnx for helping me see the light! Literally!

Putting the HH in veg where it belongs. This Pro-4 outta save my yields using 117 watts less.

image.jpeg Single shot of the hubbabubba. Gotta check but I think day 36 or 37 from seed. She is getting big and pretty wide too. From what I read about these producing so much and by this size id say an easy 6oz plant. I'm really hoping for more like 8 and that will give me the 1.5gpw which is sick for autos. I don't know a lot of testing and different things going on but if I'm even close to these numbers and the quality is spot on dripping with resin like they say I'm going to be thrilled. Who know I may even convert some photo growers to autos after this run.

Lol you know why you didn't get it? Cause your to smart. That's the truth. image.jpg
This rooms 4' wide and it's almost to bright. The reflective walls help but I'm not understanding the 2.5' X 4.5 coverage. I'd say 4x5 easy. Amares everywhere around here.

Careful with those lenses man. I bet it would burn a hole in my tile floor if to close lol. Speaking of I had brought my light into my local shop to show off a bit and it started cooking a sheet of plywood about 4 inches away. I don't think it's from the heat but the intensity. Gotta get victor in here to check these threads. I bet he would be proud of the success we are having.

You're new room has got the shiny walls, nice work. I know, the Pro-4 w/o lenses covers a huge area.
W/ lenses it covers real well too. The Cobs overlap @ exactly 12". I'm enjoying a perfect overlap of about 1"-2" over to the SE-450. I honestly thought it would be to tight cuz I'm so low, but it's perfect. Looking at it, you can see each cob just covering the soon to be colas on my Kings Kush. image.jpg Yeah, I'd have to agree about the intensity of to close. But, it does come w/ a warning & suggested height recommendation. If you can use them, I highly suggest it. My canopy is so freaking bright using lenses. Highly doubt any bare cob or reflector will ever achieve this high a PPFD. I will plan to in the future by training my plants to be shorter & keeping it jacked to the ceiling. image.jpg
I'm pretty happy w/ it w/o too. The monos are blending nice & 14"-16". So I'm @ 17" on mine over the Flo & SFV-OG. image.jpg

Damn, that's huge! See the buds forming! Nice job, once again. Getting me closer to trying Autos. At least the Autos you recommend.

You'll be growing them after this run. Rooms gonna be one tight spot very soon. 12 hubbabubba, 3 Dinafem and one cream of the crop are down now. Using that little 4x9 for 4 plants but that's really only there to germ and hold my autos till day 30. Seems small but it's enough when they are young. Thats also where all my watering shit happens, reservoir, nutes, everything's in there too so I'm left with around 4x6. With these near day 40 I need to be dropping 12 more but I already don't have the space.

Growing way to addictive. Little over a year ago I wanted to start growing and eventually built my first room. It was small, 6x12 and only was planned for 4 plants to veg and 4 to flower. By the end of the first run I had 22 plants in there lol. Still had that small scale on my mind when I built this and I'm definitely regretting it.

Thanks for the feedback man. I thought a lot about it and already failed once with seeds I wasn't sure of. 70 days of nutes, lights, space everything. In the end I trimmed a lot of plant that wasn't worth much and sold 2 other plants off in the pots ready to be cut for $500 so that was a huge loss. Now I'm sticking to what I know produces. image.jpg

no worries.
i'm personally going back to feminized beans. i like to control when they start to flower. to each his own!

You mean photo period? Was this your first auto try? I see this a lot, people try an auto and don't give it a fair chance then switch back. Idk cheaper non feminized seeds and poor results should be the outcome. Non femanized plants and poor results.

I'm trying to figure this space out. 3 plants per light is way to much. A lot of plant and a lot of leaves so there is dark spots of coarse. If I had one per light I'm sure they would be bigger but I really need to maximize the space. I know I can pull a minimum of 6oz per plant so 3 per light is 18oz while an 18oz auto is very rare. So it's the same principle as sog in a way. More weight per sq' but less weight per plant.

The biggest problem is this strain is very light sensitive. In the morning they are bright and perky and after a 10 hour day with 5 inches of growth they are droopy from the intensity. Again with the small pots shit too. Never again use 5gallon pots. The 7gallon go 3+ days while the 5's go 36 hours. I like feeding and watering these girls with the super set up but it gets old quick this often.

Lots to say. So I'm doing a test on some sprouts In the other room. They are far away but I have them under the edges of the pro4 and I started them on feed at day 1 of life. 2 were fed very light while one fairly heavy. Probably burn the shit out of them but I notice this in every run I do. Pale green plants. When I have fed early the plants seemed to be much darker throughout their lives. Since I'm on the verge of over feeding now I can't green them up. Which leaves an earlier feeding the only solution. The run behind were fed at week one and super dark. Now that I know I can pull some decent yields as is I'm going to do a lot of experiments. Huge pots, different nutes, defoliating, high stress training. Just getting started and having a blast.
