You mean photo period? Was this your first auto try? I see this a lot, people try an auto and don't give it a fair chance then switch back. Idk cheaper non feminized seeds and poor results should be the outcome. Non femanized plants and poor results.
i've got 2 lowryders that are doing fine. the autos will be for outdoors next spring. i never give up, just take a different path.

i just like to be in more control of when they flower/stretch and feminized photos work better for me indoors.

Looking good man!
how come you didn't pull her over? It would have started shooting out tons of side branches and had a more even light coverage.

This one time I wanted to grow an auto and just let it be bro so then when I do training to them in the future I have a baseline. I have only leaf tucked her and she began life in the same pot she's in now. I took off maybe two leaves that had damage from earlier on but that was it.

Very smart. Tough to do but your 100% right. This plant was about 10inches tall and 6 inches wide. Now it's almost the opposite

Any tips on tying plants down I have never done it and feel it will be a must with my two GG girls they're huge already and just put to flower..........

I try to pull the main stem away from the light. At either 10 or 2 on a clock with the light being at 12. So it's not really full over but over enough. A lot of people leave them this way but I just do it so other branches can catch up. It usually takes a day or two then I untie them. As the canopy keeps growing uneven I try to keep pulling down the top branches to keep it as even as possible.

Think of how much lower your light can be by doing this. Taking a 2 foot tall stem and bending it to around 12 inches allows you to lower the light a foot on all the leaves and not just the top.

Well last run I crammed in 4 monsters per tray and this run I started with 3. Now I'm down to 2. image.jpeg
Sort of feels like a waste of light since they aren't filling the entire space but as they continue to grow hopefully they will fill it in. To make space I took 3 and put them on the opposite wall with a stolen pro4. Due to ceiling height problems I had to run it farther away and angle it towards the plants. These are the smallest of the 9 but hopefully under the additional power they will catch up image.jpeg

Kinda creates a problem since I had the pro4's in use but I'll manage. Hate to count my chickens but these larger mephisto hubbabubba bubba are much bigger than the Dinafem strains last run which turned out massive. This was a 8.5oz 80 day seed to chop auto under the Amare last run. It would have been much bigger too if she didn't Hermie near the end of flower. The buds hardened but not nearly enough. image.jpeg

The next Mephisto I run should be interesting my goal will be to get close to your yields with one of mine. Thanks for the info, once the room's new setup is complete and I have more free time I will need to make it over to AFN.........

Anyone looking for a Pro9? I got one for sale. Only used it for ~10weeks. It's just too damn big for my tent! I'll let it for a good price! Shoot me a pm!

You'll get it. Lots of perlite in your soil and start feeding light but also early. Little lst to keep the canopy even and also allows your light to be lower. Biggest thing is hold off on the PK fill the stretch stops. I have only been at this solo for a year and can't wait for the future. Still cracks me up seeing 14" 1 oz autos and people bashing them. Hopefully after a few Amare vs auto journals I'll convert s few

I'm converting to hydro and very excited to get one of these beans grown in hydro from beginning to end to see what happens. My current setup is coco/perlite at 3 to 1 ratio in 3 gal fabric pots. I see a big future for autos especially commercially if more people like mephisto can continue showing the possibilities with them.

I also wonder if the 6500K bulbs in the T5 kept her shorter than she usually would have gotten........I am debating putting her in the flower tent during the day and back to the veg tent when the flower tent goes lights out.....? Would that hassle be worth it?

I think that much change or light would slow em down. Are you doing dwc? 3gsllon is small if your in coco/perlite. I'm converting to 7 gallon pots and also trying a few 10's

I have two cuts going in DWC and they're happy so will be switching it all over little by little. It will cut down my physical work load a lot for me and on the not so good days that makes a huge difference for me.

Just seems like a lot of work messing with the buckets. Draining or refilling them all.
"r"dwc, recirculating, means you have the buckets connected most often with another container as a res. Each grow site for me will be (4) 5 gallon buckets and a 20 gal res. Want to see how this works out. With a submersible pump I can drain the setup, and then disconnect the hose and hook it up to the sink and fill the res with new water. No more carrying buckets around lol........ trust me it has been thought out for a long time.

Here's a pic of the first setup, if you would like to discuss it more shoot me a PM

Evil,

You in the midwest?

Also, I'm doing hydro but doing Ebb and flo. Much easier to take out and move around imo. Also don't have to worry about water temps so much and oxygen with air pumps (even though I run them to keep the water moving)
