I'm looking forward to checking out your durban poison, hope you get pics up soon.:peace:

Thanks PceNluv, yeah they are all getting pretty big, well except LR3, she's not looking so good. But oh well, you can't win em all.
I really think the molasses has helped with most of them at least.
I'm seeing a lot more preflower hairs and the rest of the LR's are filling in great.:peace:
Hey man, great thread! Best of luck with your plants.
Hi Blaze, thanks for stopping in and the good wishes.:weed:

Unless you're growing inside or growing one of the auto-flowering strains, you pretty much have to have them started no later than mid-May around here.:peace:
Lookin good, are a few of those budding already?
Thanks Chewwy, yeah the Lowryder's are all flowering and most of the others already have preflower hairs. So far only 2 males out of the bunch (WR6 & K5) *knock wood*.:weed:
BigGuy BigGuy.

SWEET!. how do you do it? maybe i should live where you do lol.
Thanks Skunkone, I wouldn't advise anyone to move here unless you really like cold winters and hot humid summers. But the plants seem to like it.:weed:
damn, nice grow !! looks like you will have a nice variety by the end of the season. good job!
Thanks smokintreez, yeah I'm looking forward to it, starting with the Lowryder#2 within a few weeks. It even looks like the harvest of the rest will be spaced enough apart that they will all finish at different times too.:peace:

You probably already talked about this, but did you top some of yours? Have you had a positive experience topping?

yeah he topped some, not sure how many. In MY opinion, having followed his journal closely, he's had a pretty darn positive experience with topped plants but I'm sure he'll tell you all about it when he sees your question

Thanks PceNluv, they are starting to bud (not nearly as good as yours yet though), but I am seeing a lot of white hairs.
Yeah you wish you could grow outside and I wish that I could setup and grow inside.
Hey good luck to you too (LUCK = Laboring Under Correct Knowledge) and happy growing.
hey bigguy how it goin? what is the average height of your ladies?
Hi Kaos, doing alright, hope all is well with you.
Hmmmm average height LR's about 1 to 1 1/2 feet, WR's about 3 1/2 feet, Kahunas vary from 2 to 4 1/2 feet and the Black rose are about 2 feet tall.:peace:
You probably already talked about this, but did you top some of yours? Have you had a positive experience topping?
Hi Forest, yes I did top or fimm some but not all and overall yes I'd have to say it worked out well. When the fimming doesn't work out, the worst case scenario is that you end up with a topped plant instead. I have had some weird looking tops like yours after a successful fimming, but then they bushed out nice.
However not all strains respond well to fimming or topping.
Lookin great man, definitely got some beastly bushes in the making

Thanks oGip for answering in my sted, I've been a bit preoccupied around here lately and haven't made much time for on here or with my ladies either. The next post will tell you all about how some of them suffered from that lack of care and/or whatever got to them.
.
.
.
About three days ago I decided to pull out LR3 and dry here since she didn't seem to be doing much anymore and I was concerned she hermied too. But either way she was getting a lot of yellow to her leaves and I was out of smoke, so before she got to be useless.
DAMN she tastes great and what an awesome up buzz !!! Very sweet with almost a candy-like taste.bongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmilie I probably got about a quarter ounce from her and she is still drying. I'll probably be harvesting at least one of her sisters in a couple days as they are getting a lot of red hairs now.
Here are some pics from whem I harvested LR3.

Well the bad news is that I haven't gone up to visit or even water my ladies in about five days and something damn near killed at least 4 of them.
BR1 got hit the hardest and also WR5, WR3 & K6 aren't looking too good either.
I don't know if it was just the lack of water of what. They look like they've been sprayed with something with a lot of brown dried leaves as the result, WTF? It seems to have mostly been the plants that had direct sun and not under the edge of a tree. But BR1 and BR2 were only 3 - 4 feet apart and BR2 is totally unaffected, so again, WTF? I mean, I know they didn't get their regular feeding for 5 days, but we did get some rain over the last 3 days.:-?:-?:-?:-?
Well the rest of them are doing great and developing a lot of white hairs and I haven't seen anyone growing balls *knock wood*. Even the "outlaw" wild plant has some white preflower hairs.

thanks for the answer on the height bigguy, i am really interested in doing a outdoor grow. And am very curious how large a plant will get here, with are adverse weather. on some of those pics it looks like a phosphorus def, and on some it looks like potassium def. a good dose of nutes and they will be fine. They look great all in all. Just make sure next time your out that these mosquitos's are out for the kill, even in the day time these suckers are vicious

Thanks, yeah I have seen some good bagseed on this site though, and some good looking with no potency too. So anyway, good luck and happy growing.

Hey PceNluv glad you stopped by.
Yeah I know now that They'll need some added heat or a dehumidifier to help them dry.
Looking forward to your updated pics.:weed:

Your welcome, yeah some Kahuna's and White Rhino's (WR4 & K1 are almost 5 ft. right now) are getting tall, but the Black Rose is still a short bush.
I think next time I'll just go with all auto strains and space them out some time wise.:peace:

hey big guy.. hows it going.. ive been growing black rose for a couple months... along with some nirvana crystal, and white widow... im growing indoors... and i have to say that the black rose is by far the more resiliant of the 3.. i put 3 clones of each strain in to flower, and the black roses are already filling out ( 17 days in 12/12 ).. i will snap a few pics if you want to see.. i have yet to see any purp but im sure its in do time...
also, my plants wont be monsters like yours (last grow i had a problem with 6 foot plants so i decided to start flowering straight from clone) but i have them on a perpetual harvesting schedule (bi weekly) so i get great buds every other week =)

i will definately be paying attention to this thread.. i would love to see the outdoor potential of these strains...
your doing great..

Sounds good Dert, I'll be keeping an eye on your grow too.
As far as I know Heath's Black Rose hasn't been tested outdoors so this should be interesting to see what they do. No purple on mine yet either though, you'll probably see that first of the 2 of us.
Thanks for stopping by Dert and for all the kind words.:peace:
