I've gone full circle and I wear my glasses around my neck on a string. Best thing I ever did. Was losing them constantly. Don't see how we couldn't do the same with weed.....

You'd need a landline - and a dial added to it to call anyone but it'd work for incoming calls. Operators placed all the calls prior to phones having dials.
I worked a couple years with electromechanical telephone switching equipment prior to it going digital.

I had a buttinski tool, used to call my friends in TX, CA, CO long distance from apt bldg lines.

Back when long distance was a thing, lol.
My boss thought he was cool with just incoming calls. lol I had friends all over the place!

While on training downtown Toronto, I stayed at the Delta Chelsea - where I reprogrammed every button on the Vista 200 in the room to dial my boss's home.
