Happy anniversaryGetting a late start on our anniversary solemnities. It's a beautiful day so a nice walk is in order. Then I have to trim 5 plants. Roasting a chicken for dinner
Well, slept in until 830. Sat on the porch with the dog enjoying my coffee in peace. Got a little more than half the grass cut last night after work. So only got about 2 hours of yard work left to do today yet. Get to sleep in again tomorrow. I fucking killed it at work. Got everything that was scheduled done. And even got a couple customers that I liked that called too late, open and ready to swim. Feeling pretty good about taking these 2 days off. Morning.
Reminds me I need to put in 20 bucks of chlorine this evening and brush my pool I bet there's a mad rush to Memorial Day. Nice you get some time off. Any special plans?Well, slept in until 830. In the industry, at least in the Northeast, the week before Memorial Day is lovingly referred to as "hell week". You got pool openings. Weekly pool maintenance. Repairs. Service calls. Basically everybody is like "oh yeah, I got a pool and a party next week. I should look at the pool. Oh shit".Reminds me I need to put in 20 bucks of chlorine this evening and brush my pool I bet there's a mad rush to Memorial Day. Nice you get some time off. Any special plans?

Pool season never ends here, good and bad.In the industry, at least in the Northeast, the week before Memorial Day is lovingly referred to as "hell week". You got pool openings. One of my best friend's girlfriends has a party every Memorial Day. So I always take off Memorial Day and we go to this party. It just worked out that I got everything done and could take off today also. The party itself is super chill and everybody there is pretty awesome. And we get to bring the dog this year. Moving forward I should be able to take off every Sunday now. Until we get to closing season in 3 months lol.
Yeah I really thought they were contaminated, but my housemate said they smelled OK to him. IDK. Maybe a weird preservative, or the yeast...Damn, that’s a shocker! Because I’ve gone through like 5 brands of hot dog buns recently, and Ballpark was by far the best of all of them. It tastes the most like what a hot dog in a bun is supposed to taste like. Weird, maybe you got a bad batch.
I watched "The Son" last night....It was a sleeper!!Beep!
Sweet Girl with Jason Momoa was not very good. Some fun scenes, but I couldn't suspend my disbelief for a few parts. Watchable, not my favorite.
How you, meep?
Oh hell yes, unless it's raining or snowing go for the 190.I am trying to figure out if the extra 2 mile walk is worth it to get 190 proof vs 150 proof everclear for tincture. I don't think I have ever used 150...
@manfredo That looks nice and tasty O:
Sweet! They have fancier beers at the further place.Oh hell yes, unless it's raining or snowing go for the 190.
Or if you have a water distiller, you could make 150 into 190 yourself.
