Blue Dream Haze attitude freebie

So, I'm not posting this to rag on on anyone in particular, rather for the benefit of the community, as I presume that a lot of people got this seed from attitude with their order in the month of June. In late vegetative growth, my BDH seemed to be doing very well, and so the second it started to produce female preflowers, I threw it under 12/12. Within 6 days, I could see early male flowers forming at internodes all over the plant, mixed in with the female. I sprayed with Dutch Masters reverse, but within another two days the balls were just everywhere, probably almost even in number with the female flowers. I try to keep a low stress environment and have not seen any other signs of hermaphroditism in my other plants, but that doesn't mean it wasn't my fault. If it was, however, it was definitely a low amount of stress that caused a major amount of herming on this plant, so I would advise keeping an eye on it, and probably trying to baby it as much as possible.

It's a good idea to post so others growing it can comment. It's a strain I'm considering and wondering if it's an isolated incident (I expect) or a problem in the strain. What seed bank is the strain from?

might be why they were free............
Yeah, I want to note that I am very specifically not hatin' on the breeder, as this is the only bean from them I have grown, it was free, and one bean can't really be considered representative of an entire seed batch by a long shot. I am just saying if you got it going, keep an eye on it, and be a little careful with it.

It was a freebie from attitude. I think it was a cali connection seed.

Damn that sucks did you take any pics bro? I'm pretty sure swerve would wanna see..
I don't think these were released or tested.. maybe that's why they're free but still sucks to waste time and space.
But yeah these were from cc

Anyone notice that there is no description page for these freebie Blue Dream seeds? If you click on the link you get to see a monkey and a 404 error. I believe the monkey is swerve and he's laughing at us.

Thanks for this. I have a bdh freebie going right now about 50 days from seed. Will look at it very carefully when lights come on later.

I'm running it outside and it feels like mine might be a male too. It shot up faster then any of my other plants. Also, not much for side branching at all. Has anyone else seen this problem? It does show female preflowers but I have the feeling it's not going to last long in my patch.

Then you should have fucking topped it ffs. You also got female pre-flowers and you are fucking complaining. Now that is fucking annoying.

Hey, great job being a dick for no reason!

For what it's worth, I had female preflowers on my BDH, in fact, as soon as I could conclusively identify them I chucked it into flowering. however in less than a week of 12/12 it had probably 30-40% male flowers all over the entire plant, with at least a couple on every single branch. Mine also grew more like a male, but I topped it the week before flowering and it responded rather well. Until I noticed it was covered in balls.

Well, that's what I'd been hearing around here, but this round of attitude freebies is my first experience with the post-mmj american seed breeders. For what its worth, both the SSSDH were male, and from the four TGA beans I got two female dairy queens and a female chernobyl that are all doin' fine. Too early to make any real judgements, but they were all rather healthy.

I have had good luck with attitude freebies and so far this one is no exception. She is one week into flower and no balls yet. For those who come up with brilliant posts like dukeblue above; have you grown out any attitude freebies? Are you growing bdh?

bummer. been wanting to test my UFO to see how it compares to HQS haze x skunk. comparing notes with one BD grower, the two have similar potent and long lasting buzzes and i would have expected BD to taste better.

it could be a failed strain that cali-con was dumping as i don't see the strain listed in with the rest of their mostly OG & chem gear. that might be why it was a freebie. i'll try to make a mental note to keep an eye on it when i test it this winter, if i do.

most hermies ar due to grower error and enviroment.
even though they would never admit such a thing,it's just easier to blame the breeder or the tude for the hermie.
