Boss Hog = microseed disaster

I havent updated my thread yet about my 71 seeds that I started because the ladies aren't ready yet. I do however want everyone to know that week 7 took boss hog for the worse. One plant was completely microseeded ( i found this out by taking one branch off and rolling a bud in my hand cuz I saw some nannas and wanted to see if they were already infected.

the seeds were ... micro... but you cant smoke this bud. I chopped down all the boss hog and im going to cull my blue dream haze and will never... NEVER ever ever ever be running cali connections again.

Not one of my other plants has a god damn nanner but now I might have a whole room that got a nut busted on it.

The worst part is that when you stop expecting it to herm you wake up and blam the yellow nanners have infiltrated.... If only I had a monkey that would eat them off for me.

thats why i rough my girlies up on their first go round, usually if they can take what i dole out, then they can take just about anything indoors/out. abusive growers ftw! stomp out the weak plants!

Damn that ducks yo hear. I always go in with 2 eyes open growing cali connections beans they have some winners as well as crapshoots

I knew what I was dealing with and I kept checking every day so I believe I have stopped the spread of infectious baby syndrome.

Once again, a chorus of "God Damn Swerve!", can be heard echoing through the threads of RIU.
Sorry to hear about your garden, sir.
I hope you can recover to some extent, I wish you the best of luck, in the process.

Thanks for the warning.

I think the timing on this one especially sucks.

You'd hope that by week seven you're out of the woods, but no. At least you were careful, found and contained the damage.

I think we've all had the experience of harvesting an otherwise great plant, finding beans inside. . .going WTF?. . .then only after trimming the thing down to the bone and hand inspecting every bud finding a few small nanas INSIDE the buds where they're basically invisible to ordinary inspection.

On the breeder. . .no comment. Lets just say that we all know that we have to be careful growing new strains. . .some more than others.

I've had the Nanners appear inside the bud unfortunately. You have to aggressively search on new plants. Learned the hard way.

So true! I am not too mad about it just a little dissapointed. I have a good lineup thats coming up so the boss hog was just a filler.

Same experience here with Boss Hogg nanners around week 7, I ran it twice and got the same results. It did yield very well and the buds were looking to be amazing. Both grows of Boss Hogg turned into bubble and bho, I wont run her again.

Yeah I even cut off a branch for a clone and I killed that lady too. I don't want to experience it again there are so many choices why go back to one you had a bad experience with?

That is exactly how I felt about it, I have more beans then I will ever grow the rest of my life there is no reason to waste time with this one. Is there 1 person who has not had a Boss Hogg hermie?
