Boveda Humidity Pack.

This is interesting. Where did you read this? I use use 2 to 3 packs in 1/2 gal. jars. 1/2 gal. jars hold 3 to 4 oz. I've read on the Boveda website their suggested amount of packs to use per oz. there was nothing that I found saying using more than one per jar is not recommended.
OK... Ya know how your brain works if you have a Correct pack size for One Ounce... then

From There Web:
Boveda Medium "8 Gram" Packets work best with large pop tops, small mason jars and containers. Simply use one medium Boveda packet for every eight grams of cannabis or tobacco. The Boveda humidity packet lasts about 2 months, and keeps cannabis and or tobacco at the perfect humidity. Field tests have proven that Boveda packs not only keep your nug jug at the perfect humidity, but actually keep your medicine at the perfect humidity...this means the perfect amount of "water" is kept in your medicine to keep it fresh for longer and provide a better quality smoke tomorrow.

So maybe I dreamed it... IDK....
I was hi at the time...

*These recommendations are based on the assumption that the herbs are stored in a container with a good seal and vapor-barrier qualities. The tighter the seal, the more efficiently the Boveda will work.

It's cool. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. Thanks for those posts.

I've been seeing people posting that you can rehydrate the used up boveda packs, does this actually work? They say to put the used up boveda pack in a air tight container with some water not touching it and over the course of about a week they will be ready to use again. Was just wondering if anyone here had tried it.

ya guys, if you dont use these packs you NEED TO. dry your bud, throw a $1 pack in each one of your jars and never worry about burping them or anything like that. the bud will continue to cure for over a year if left sealed shut :D

Ive done it. It only took me about 24hrs for the pack to hydrate. I imagine it would depend on how much the pack was depleted and how big of container you are using. I'm not saying this actually "renews" the packs but it does put moisture back into the pack. I don't know if the packs are still able to stabilize accurately after doing this. I use BP's and have had very good results.

Just don't let the boveda get bone dry. I tried to rehydrate a few packs in a ziplock with a shot glass of distilled and I think they were too far gone to rehydrate themselves. I use the bovedas for my cigar collection.
