Boxing up grow equipment (Depressing)

Long story short, house foreclosed, going through legal bullshit with my chick's house. Will need inspectors n shit / blah blah, maybe staying, maybe going. Got my last harvest (hermied FML) hanging up to dry, boxing up all the light's n shit / cleaning... HOW FUCKING DEPRESSING!!! I was not even this sad seeing my daughter fresh out of surgery and that shits rough.

I'm trying to look at the bright side, which is a total revamped grow next time I set up shop, which maybe here again. Ridding myself of this bag seed BULLSHIT (although it taught me much over the last 15/16 months), I'm going for the good stuff next time. Already have a list going of strains I'll be ordering seeds for. Bag seed is good for starting, but they have so many issues. I mean it was an accidental pollination to begin with obviously to even possess "bag seed" from someone elses fuck up hahaha, so they are real prone to herm.

Anyone else have to pack up there shit with no idea of when you'll be up again? What do you tell yourself to get through it and be positive? lol

Like dude said above (kinda) the end of one thing is just the beginning of another. After my first grow/partnership fell apart i was definitely depressed for a while since i had lost a good friend and i was not growing. But i got my grow going again shortly there after amd it has been good times ever since.
Keep ya head up

So sorry to hear about you boxin it up. I don't know what I would do if I had to stop.
Take this time off to plan for bigger and better things. When one door closes, two windows open.

if it were me, i'd be saving up materials for my new grow spot, and be totally amped to be able to focus on a new build/setup that could make my life easier
although my setup is a bitch right now, so for you it may just be a total loss

i mean you may be running a better strain

on your new build, add in intake filters. They reduce dust and make maintenance much easier. I clean my filters ALOT believe it or not, they catch a fuck load of dust.
all's i did was take re-washable filter material and jam it into the intake hole

everything being cleaner means more yield, more reflectivity. I use that shiny bubble wrap and plan to switch to flat walls with mylar lining, so that i can just replace it once every so often. I believe the bubbles are reflecting light upwards too, and I'd rather it all travel downward first. (took me a while to conceptualize)
as far as cleaning the mylar i use, i can't.. It's the emergency blanket shit you get from walmart for 2 or 3$ a pack that is really huge
but i would love to switch to a washable material

i would take apart my inline fans, oil the bearings with turbine oil, and maybe even shoot a little coil cleaner in them to get any dust out ( looking at my fan i think i don't even have to take it apart, just take the duct off )
i would add in a water supply so i don't have to walk to the bathroom to get water (after the inspectors leave!)

hope this helps!

oh yeah. I wanted to add in after adding the intake filter, it made me realize how important it is to just rinse a plant off once in a while. This will clean off its "pores" or stomata i think its called and make it be able to respirate or whatever easier

I would NEVER sell my shit. I will continue to grow till I die, even if it lands me in the joint one day. This is the 3rd real passion I found thus far in my life (27 yrs) I get bored easy, but breaking the rules keeps my heart beating. Muuuuhahahaha.

I also did clean every piece of equipment before storing them, with good old bleach water, and I will clean them again, before setting up a room again. Also I am never going to re-use soil EVER AGAIN, I am going to bake all soil to sterilize after I get it, and I'm going to spray down my plants more often, and thoroughly clean rooms between harvests. I learned my lesson the hard way.

Lucky me, My grow spot is right by a sink, I just fill a plastic tote, ph the whole thing and take it in to water one bucket at a time.

Instead of using the existing flawed structure again, I'm going to make a room from scratch so I can reduce the size, and add a bunch of insulation so the A/C has to do 25% of the work it was having to do before.I mean 5x5.5x 10/11 with air leak's and no insulation is a lot of needless air to cool. especially for a 5000 btu... So I'm going to make the new one 4x4x 7 or 8, with (drywall / insulation / drywall) , So not only should it be much cooler, It should stay cooler easily. Also was going to link the veg directly next to it, So i can have a straight shot through both for the ducting / cool tubes n such. One dedicated to moving air through just the hoods and getting it out of the room quickly. Then a separate inline to scrub the air from inside n move it from flower into the veg area (so the air is scrubbed, and is the air conditioned air from flower room), Then I'll have a exhaust from the veg room. Hopefully by doing it this way, I waste less air conditioned air, sucking it out of one room, and not two. My only fear is if somehow by accident a hermie somehow eludes me again, and the pollen somehow does not get trapped in the carbon filter and is sent flying around in the veg area, (not sure if they could be pollinated in veg, but it would really get me butt-hurt.)

just remember when you run those rooms together if you're running lights in them the veg room light will shit into the flower if you don't have an in line filter or something to block the light in between teh rooms.
Going to separate the two 4x4 rooms with drywall, and sag the duct in one of the rooms, so it should not have any light leak if it does, i can zig zag it. The ducting holes will be chalked along the outside edge meeting the duct.

try adding in a pollen filter if you want to reduce chance of pollen spread, they sell them for allergies

Outdoors ?? Have a place where you can keep a plant or two?
Sorry to hear about the foreclosure, you usually have about a year and half before you get walked out(if you stay til very end).
On the brighter side, like mentioned, setting up your gear again!
