Bring the backlash here. Growing in cow manure ONLY!

Just for kicks I'm going to transplant a small plant I have into 100% composted cow manure and see how it does. I'll give it light feedings of Vitagrow every couple of watering's. It is just a weed and one of the easiest plants to grow. It doesn't require the overpriced designer nutrients people dump on them. In fact the reason many people have issues growing a weed is because they dump too much stuff on them.
I have a whole box of that designer garbage I bought as a noob and now I have no idea what to do with it lol just cant bring myself to trash it since i paid so freaking much for it all, but I will never use it again

I hear you. I wasted some money early on but quickly came to my senses. Now I buy very inexpensive nutrients and am growing beautiful plants and never have any issues. Just lush green plants that develop beautiful large buds. There is nothing hard about growing a weed. In fact cannabis is one of the easiest plants I grow if you just leave it alone and feed it what it needs not what the nutrient companies claim you need. They need you to buy their products more than the plant needs you to feed them to it.

My thoughts are this. Many people on here have never grown anything other then pot. They have no gardening background or farming.
They have been sold on the idea that they have to buy designer dirt and nutes to get anything out of their plants.
It's very sad ....and a huge waste of money. Especially to those who sell...because it dramatically effects their bottom line.

Side note...
If you get some cow patties...and when breaking it up and it smell like shit...don't use it! When it's fully composted it will not have a smell.

Happy growing everyone :peace:

got my manure all chopped down to a rough potting soil consistency.

got all my stuffed gathered up except for some hay to mulch around the plant. will hop on the 4-wheeler and go get some. that will also take all of 5 mins.

so i wanna buy some liquid fence deer/rabbit repellent from amazon, but for today, i have gathered the following:

black pepper
cayenne pepper
peppermint essential oil
camphor essential oil
menthol essential oil
pure capsaicin oil

plan on sprinkling around the plant.

would you all recommend creating a spray also?

in the next few hours i should wear myself out digging some holes and planting plants... :bigjoint:
