bubble hash question. 5 gallons and 200g of nice trim? experts needed!!!

Hey guys... going to try making bubble hash tonight.

I got 200g of nice trim in the freezer.

got a 5 gallon bucket that my 5 gallon bags sure dont fit over very nicely... pretty damn tight at the top.

I was going to put a spoon in a drill and spin it for 10 minutes, or a food mixer maybe if I cant find my drill.

probably let my ice and water sit together to get it all nice and cold. then I will put a small layer of water and ice into the bucket with my 4 bags.

dump 60 or so g of weed. pour more ice/water.. 60 or so g of weed. more ice water,then the last 60 or so grams of weed into the bucket.

let it sit for 10 minutes.

stir for 10 minutes.

let it sit for 20 minutes.

then pull the bags out and see what I got??

what do you guys do with the water afterwards? is there anything good that the 20 micron bag doesnt catch?


what kind of yield should I expect from a 200g run, 4 bags?

any changes I should make to my plans?

Im far from a expert but if your inexperienced with bubble hash and dont have a bubble machine, chances are your yeilds will be shit. However i still love bubble.

why does a bubble machine make such a difference?

can I save all the weed and try it again when I get a machine?

what do the experts do different than im doing? I watched bubblemans and Matt Rizes and Jorge Cervantes' videos and am doing pretty much exactly what they do, with almost equal crystal coated material.

anyways... ive already begun. I just mixed it for 15 mins... now to let it sit for half hour, then seperate

What the experts do, is they use a bubble machine. a gentle agitation around 45-60 mins. the spinning of the machine is gentler on the plant matter. Not just that put also you have to let it soak in the ice water like 15-30 mins before starting.

tonight. 200g rinse. I am pretty happy. sure hope I got more than 10% return. 20% would be nice but I doubt it.

red bag is 160... people say they throw this away or use it for cooking???? crazy.

orange 120, got lots. nice and white. full melt even when its not even fully dry.. we couldnt wait!

yellow 73, sure didnt get much

white 45, didnt get much

purple (not shown) is 25. lots in there. good stuff too. definitely smokable, not junk like lots of people seem to say?!

why do you need to be an expert to perform this kind of stuff?

I can say this. this is my first time, I used 200g, and got a hell of a return. ive seen "pros" online make bubble hash with wal mart sized bags full of shake and not get nearly as much as I did out of each of their bags.

I am definitely doing it again! longer rinsing though.
