watered with no nutes tonight. i think i'm done with nutes for this gro. cave was right, the bubbles especially have a bit of nute burn, the k-trains less, and the narkush don't seem to have any. at any rate the burn is fairly minor but it still bugs me. damn!

in spite of all that they are looking pretty good. i think i see some "hairs" on the narkush and bubbles starting to turn. (although it still seems a week or so early.)

haven't got the microscope yet, should get it mon/tuesday and am excited to try it out and take a pic with it.

cheers!

rock on! i got it to work. here's the first one. not too impressive but i'm just learning. this is small sliver of a leaf on a bubble side branch bud.

i think thats 30X mag. i can go 60x which i will try next. the software is buggy but at least it works half the time.

hello. correction. the manual said the USB imager was 15x but the forum says that's not correct. so actually i don't even know what magnification this image is, i'm thinking it's 10x. i guess it doesn't matter as long i can see the little stalks.

messing around with the flash and the white balance a bit.

notice the narkush (pic 2,3,4,5,9,10.) such a different plant than i am used too. both of them are kinda turning into little totem poles with tons of thick small leaves but getting nice and hairy frosty looking.

according to the calendar i have 2-3 weeks left. i don't believe it. maybe on the k-trains. we'll see.

Hey Dance whats up man. Been meaning to tell you your plants are looking mighty fine brother. You must be drooling over those bubbles... they are looking so sweet!! The guard cat seems to be doing his job pretty good too :) . What a great past time....growing your own weed!!! I'll start another journal in a couple of months, I just can't bring myself to post any pics right now after subcool screwed me over even though the buds that are coming down now are High Times cover quality. I have my old strains going in next week.

Later man keep up the good growing. Ya should have your camera dialed in for some bud shots soon! Look forward to it

i took my tiny pruning sizzor and cut a little bitty section of leaf and a "hair" or two off of the top cola of shortest bubble then put the sample under the microscope and tried different lighting etc etc etc.....

it's hard for me to tell if they are clear or cloudy or amber because it all kind of depends on the light angle.

my guess is they are clear to cloudy for the most part.

pretty cool tho that i can even do this.

cheers!

i have to say these k-trains are looking real nice. i'll send a pic soon. they were really stretchy and have big fat stems. i kinda think they would like to be in big containers with lots of watts of light and room to reach.

i started the k-trains along with GH Alaskan ice but none of the A-ice survived. seems like GH has a bad rap in the USA for stretchy plants with low yield. i don't really know about any of that. just having all the alaskan ice die or not pop made me a little skeptical about their gear.

however, keep in mind mine is a small small sample and i'm liking the look of these k-trains now that they are maturing. sure wish i could have given them room to take off.

glad you agree hooked. they look clear to cloudy to me too but it's kinda hard to get the light right for the pictures. more to come. the bubbles have some burned out "red" hairs but at the same time they are shooting out corkscrew fox-tailing type new hairs and the buds are fattening up a bit. i kinda think i'll be finishing right according to schedule a week or two from now (july 9 - 16! fuck this seems like it's taken half a year....) the k-trains will be an additional week.

nice saint cant wait to see ktrain

your pics of the leaf are all clear trichs, didnt see very many cloudy ones

took a small sample from the top of one of each type. still don't understand why the upload manager posts them out of sequence. maybe i'm doing something wrong and need to sort them somehow.

98-101 are narkush. these are the girls that are supposed to be done this weekend according to the seedsman website.

103-106 are k-trains which supposedly have 10 days left.

107-112 are the bubbles and the website says anywhere from 9-11 weeks and i'll be at 8 this weekend.

seems like bubbles have the most amber going on. kinda hard for me to tell.

:peace:
