GK i dont know if you still check this guy but i just stopped by to say thanks for all your help over the past couple months(the book and a couple of questions answered:) ) now while i will receive no 8oz of bud in exchange for my work, the joy all came in the growing. here is a pic of first baby...and thanks again for all your help

So tell me what ya'll think about it. It says that you can grow with just 1 light is this true?

Transplant, as soon as possible into a regular planting pot, about 3 gallons or so for each one is ideal.

And where did you get those light fixtures you screwed the bulbs into? I can't find them anywhere.

1. transplant into bigger pots! Roots grow in the dark so use non-transparent pots.
2. Get rid of the aluminum foil. Use either mylar or reflector sheet (it's one side is white and the other black). Or don't use anything. But get rid of the aluminum foil.
3. The three plants in the first picture need more light.
4. The plant in the second pic will be just fine with your light setup.

Have you switched to 12/12 yet?

Yeah, I'd like to know where it says you can grow with only one light, cuz I own it and I don't recall that anywhere in the book. But no, that wouldn't be the case.

yes they have been on 12/12 for about a couple of weeks. ok so i will go get some 3 gallon pots transplant then and get rid of the tin foil

i got them at walmart they are about 2 dollars a piece, just be careful make sure you wire them right.

the first time i tried this i did not know that the plants could not get so big and i was trying to grow these plants that where about 4 1/2 to 5 feet tall under those lights. i should have read the book lol. i had to put them outdoors

can someone help with as to what sort of reflector i shud be using for this, or like what kind the guy who made the book used??

why dont you buy the book? even if you lighting is the only thing your wondering about now, the book will have answers to other questions you will have later on, you should also pick up a general (bud) grow book....those n forums like these can be invaluable resources

well i have the book, and in the book he never shows what he uses,as he clearly states it....im just ttryin to get a general idea of a good method of reflecting light in that case
