these are pics from last year(2 weeks earlier 7/20/11)....been very busy this year and cant give the babes the attention they deserve. not to mention the drought this summer, i rely on the rain to do most of my watering. hopefully things turn out decent.

My plants looked like that a month ago.........they have shot up to 4-5 feet since then. If you have a good amount of veg time they might grow another foot or 2

^ I hope so. I know I am going to feed better through flowering this year so i can see denser buds. they are definatly doing better than i thought they would do. ( i kind of ignored them for a few weeks.) and i have already noticed fast growth in the last 2 visits.

I try to plant further and further each year. Next year I will only plant 7 and they will have an enormous amount of room - so looking forward to that :)

You planted them to close together...
2 of them are pretty damn close actually the 2 best looking ones. but i would say the rest have a decent amount of room. I am thinking of trying a couple storage containers next year. every time i dig a hole there is a huge rock 2 ft down. very hard to dig a good sized hole.

Ive actually got a couple little ones in pots that are starting to really get pistils. so i would say flowering has officially begun.

Keep it in the ground bud!. Just dig ur 2 feet down and fill. Now add another another 2 feet on top and u have urself 1 nice raised bed/hole for your girls.

^^You got the right idea. I never dig a deep hole and always mound them up. My biggest plant I moved out of a 4" by 6" deep pot into a 4" hole and mounded her up (I didn't know sex on this one, so I was unwilling to do too much). No soil amendment, although I had added a little when she was potted as a seedling. She's 12 feet now - and very full like a Christmas tree. The trick is to have good soil. I keep my spots mulched year round. I don't worry about rocks. They will find their way around them.

the 2 bigger girls are really nice, while the others are nothing special as far as size and bud potential. only 4 days between these last pics so i would say they are putting on some size.

thanks mr.M, Ive been feeding them alot better than last year at this time. If i can keep up a tight sched. who knows what could happen. still got 5-8 weeks left but things are looking better than i thought they would. had a rough spring with the drought and half my spots getting torn up. But im glad im stickin with it.

Love the "stretch" comparison pics. Mine really burst with growth once they started flowering too. Looking good man. Should get a decent harvest from those ladies.
