Am I the only one who feels like this entire thread is way ahead of itself? After *one* day of curing as of the op? My answer would have been this: nothing cures in a day. Not like there was any bad advice here, but after essentially no curing... overkill. Plz, somebody, what did I miss?

You look for a certain dryness before jarring to avoid mold and to get an even cure. If its too wet going in, getting a stabilized rh is tricky and the cure is usually uneven.

Idk why there is so much on this thread though, but I personally didn't even catch the one day thing. All I read was seemed wet, and immediately had thoughts of jars of moldy dank.
Anyways what this thread settled on was he needs to sweat/dry the plant more, then start curing in jars... If he had continued "curing" in the manor he was, it would've likely resulted in mold.

It's still wet. My bud smells like dank all the way threw . Unless I grow outdoor then it smells like hay until it drys. If it smells weird already and your leaving it closed it's only going to get worse.
I find this hard to believe, that your bud smells like dank all the way thru. Because tenps around 73 or lower n you frfr cant smell the most potent strain. Everyone is familiar with that freshly trimmed and dried weed smell. It's no need to cap.

I have had this issue. I let it sit out on cardboard or in a huge tubaware dish for about an hr or 1.5 hrs then put it back in the jar. Try doing this 3 days in a row. Yeah I kno its an old thread but ppl are still going to read it
